I cover a lot of RDO money and gold guides but I haven't done a rank up guide in over and year and this is because after rank 100 and hitting max rank within all the roles, XP is pointless but for all the Red Dead Online beginners out there, this is the best way to to rank up in Red Dead Redemption 2 Online.

Your Red Dead Online rank is not important later in the game, it is just a number but at the beginning it is essential to unlock weapons, skills, new content and so much more. So in this Red Dead 2 Online video, I will be showing you a red dead online guide to rank up fast. These Red Dead Online tips will not get you from 0 to rank 100 and have all roles maxed out over night but it will show you how to level up the fastest way possible in each of the roles so that when you do play RDR2 Online. You are being as efficient as possible so that you can rank up fast Red Dead Online.
This guide is for Red Dead Online 2021 so it's up to date at the time of recording this video but if you're playing RDR 2 Online after a major Red Dead Online Update, there might be extra roles to go through or there might be a better way to grind Red Dead Online XP

Stranger and bounty missions both pay in gold and the amount of gold increases over increments of 3 minutes. For the first 12 minutes, gold increases by .08 gold bars. From the 15 minute mark to 20 minutes, which is the max amount of time for stranger missions and regular bounty missions, gold only increases by .04 gold bars. Waiting until 2:59 seconds will give you the max amount of gold. Waiting until the 30 second mark is not necessary.

The 30 seconds mark has always been a time I say because I don't recommend just standing their, waiting 30 seconds maximises the other activities such as doing collecting. I could hand in at 2:59 but in 2:29 seconds I could easily get another collectable. Just about maximising

I use the stopwatch on my phone to time Stranger missions. Do the mission as normal and when I hit 12 minutes I complete the mission. 0.32 gold every time. That's 0.96 every 45 mins give or take.

I keep moonshiner and trader going 24/7 with bounty hunting inbetween. Collector for me is opportunistic. I only collect when I sense an item around.

Dude for the collector role all you need to do is this. You see a house you can go into. Search the whole house and even if you dont get any collectablies. You still looted tonics for free, food, free alcohol to mix in your mash for the moonshiner role. I mean its not that hard tbh. Another tip is when you kill enemies loot their body, their is a chance for you to get a collectable from the corpse. EZ lol

Also when you loot enemies bodys you get pocket watches, belts. That you can sell to the fence for atleast 10 bucks or so. Some lower.

Keep an eye on your collectable inventory after buy the Collector role from Madan Nazar. You can only carry a certain amount of a collectable type with a cap of 10 in a stack in your collector bag. If you have maxed out on an item, you will not be able to pick up that item again, until you make room for it in your inventory. I like to keep seven of every item I my inventory and sell everything above that, except for plants which I sell off after five in a stack since those are easy to collect.

If you are going to grind the Bounty hunter for a couple of hours I suggest turning the bounties in @ the 10-minute mark from when the bounty prompts. This will maximize your XP and Money. If you're just doing a few of them make it 12 minutes. Taking any longer you will lose xp and money.

With my moonshiners and trader roles, I rank up super fast. I only use free aim setting when I hunt. I use auto aim for the bootlegger missions. I went from rank 32 to 42 in a day.

You will actually get more cash, gold, and xp at a faster rate if you don't wait to the last 30 seconds in missions, because of all the time you waste waiting for the timer to tick down to 30 seconds.

"Do not sell collectibles individually" That's impossible (except the known collectibles) unless you want to miss a bunch of things or don't ever loot. I've gotten more 10 of certain coins before I ever get a rare.

finding 12 cards to get a complete set will take about an hour and you will get about 3000 xp for your effort, at thieves landing I can get up to 9000 xp in the same time, I average about 7500xp per hour

For trader role for the perpose of levelling faster literally everything should be backwards... Including when you sell... The second you have 1 product... Sell then sell when youre back and so on untill you need supplies again and do them as the short sales... Nomatter if its full or empty you still get the same xp so more runs per supply then its more xp per supply if that makes sense... Its really poor for making money over time but i have gone from trader rank 4 to trader rank 10 in around 3 hours...

@@GB2G havent played my PS4 for months now, ive gone to the darkside xbox series s. I have red dead again and i rarely play it now. Cyberpunk is the best game about after the new update. its now for series x/s. Anyway i think i was about 400 or 500 level and had been playing since beta and when you got 0.5 gold for daily challenges. they killed the game now when they changed the reward to 0.1. you get more from bounties. I now concentrate on getting my Microsoft reward points daily. nearly got enough for 3 months of game pass ultimate, which i had already. But her i got a bit obsessed and got well over 1500 bars now. though like i said i dont play it on my ps4 anymore. shame they have lost a 20 year old ps player by screwing up their manufacturing. Oh and no i didnt buy any at all!

For the trader, if you have friends, when you get the missions where you have to pick up bags to resupply, the amount of bags will add up to how many people are in your trader, and you get 500xp per bag

On top of that try to enjoy the process, there is so many things in this game that give you XP, headshot kills, kills, fishing, herb gathering, skinning, ass wiping....ffs play game, enjoy it.
