I have to honestly say that my husband and I went to Las Vegas for our honeymoon 9 years ago. We wanted to see Donny and Marie at the Flamingo. We chose the VIP option for the show. We saw the show and had the great honor of meeting them in person following. During the show we were sitting on the first row. My husband who had a mad crush on Marie growing up was so gaga as she sang directly to him. So sweet. Awesome show by the way!!! They are incredibly gifted performers. Afterwards when we met them, had our photos taken with them and they autographed our photos. The whole time they were nothing but sweet and kind. Very gentle and genuine people. The little girl that sat next to me during the show was there for her birthday. A special gift from her parents. When Marie was talking with her and found out it was her birthday she whispered to one of her coworkers there and they left returning back with one of Marie's beautiful dolls to gift to this little girl. She lit up like a little Christmas tree. Even if you do not agree with their faith, I think it is important to show respect for people and their faiths.

Fascinating, truly at the comments people have about this interview and their opinions in general. I'm a Christian. I'm a Mormon. I feel a sadness in my heart to know how much hate people feel. I"m really not concerned with the manutia of other religions or why people believe what they do. My relationship is with God and that is enough. I have soooo many friends and family members I love dearly who are NOT Mormon and how gracious and tolerant they are. My God demands my tolerance and acceptance in Love of all people and faiths. My refinement is part of this process of becoming charactered. How I truly hope and desire that when I meet you and come across YOU in life that I'm nothing but gracious and Christlike to you even though you despise what I believe to be true for myself. +Noelle Weinberger I'm sorry but your church does not teach tolerance towards the lgbt community. They have spent millions of hours of man work and money in trying to prevent equal marriage. Not to mention banning their children from becoming members unless they have to publicly declare they don't support their parents also writing this declaration, to no longer be living with their parents (or anyone gay), then they have to then be approved by the first presidency. And before 1978 your church banned African Americans and anyone with African decent to be members, say prayers, hold positions and the priesthood. They could also not be married in the temple and had to beg to enter the temple for baptisms for the dead. Garments are not like other religious clothing at all. Ask other people the meaning of the symbols on their religious clothing and they will tell you. But you don't dare talk about the arrows on your nipples and right knee, or the bar on your belly button. I mean if you got your endowments done before the changes in the 90s, you made a promise to slit your throat if you speak about what happens in the temples. I don't know about you but that sounds satanic to me. So it makes sense why I could feel a powerful evil when I went in coming from the deep chambers.

love a nurse 55 Just to let you all know Marie’s Name is Olive after her mother. I worked for them for 5 years when they came to Toronto CNE. Told them my mother is Olive and I am Donnie. She was about 12. George asked me if I wanted to come and live with them in their guard house and travel with them doing security. He did not know that Donnie signed books of autographs and I sold them and split the money. I collected stuffed animals as gifts fir Marie and Jimmy. Great fun.

Donny & Marie had their own Las Vegas Show at the Flamingo Hotel that I went to see and the way they performed and interacted with each other was fantastic, truly great entertainers. This year 2019, Their show will come to an end this November. I will miss them. I’m not sure how long they were there but something like 10 years. I wish them a Happy life. 👏👏👏
