Ohhhhh I am sooooo happy Joy got the glasses. 👏 I don't do Facebook hardly at all anymore either, it is a big time grabber. I've got my nephew's big wedding in September at the Pfrister Hotel in Milwaukee and its really fancy fancy black tie. First black tie I've ever went to. 🤷 Do tell us more about your daughters future wedding please. What are her colors, what are you wearing, what is Joy wearing, flowers, table decorations etc just anything you feel comfortable sharing. I love weddings! ❤ I've been to some really interesting ones. 😊

I concur. Once things slow down, sell Joy's signed paintings a little at a time. Not at the State Fair. I've learned from another metro artist they take a healthy chunk of the sale price.

How large are Joy’s paintings? Perhaps you can hang her work for sale at local cafes? Sometimes they have an Artist of the Month….there are other places like banks and small eateries that do this!

I know you feel better. My Uncle is 1 month in his assisted living. Its a house 6 people live there 4 ladies 2 men. The nurse that runs it owns the house in Eagan and 1 in Burnsville. He loves it. They even came with a truck and guys to move him because he only had me. Lol Thats cute Joy is pretty. My grandma was very classy looking and her next door neighbor was a man that ended up being her boyfriend. It was so cute.

How come you don't call a art art studio somewhere and have a setup display of all your mom's paintings and they can sell it for you but you also donate a certain process to them as charity but then you'll be able to make more room in your storage

Now I'm jealous of an old guy in a wheelchair who lacks subtlety, who will get to spend time around Joy anyway. I hope you come up with a way to find good homes for all of joy's art, but if you don't, then sacrifices like that in order to live for the future rather than tying up loose ends from the past, are understandable and forgivable. Some are already out there being appreciated, maybe for decades or centuries to come. That's already better than if none were. What percentage of the work of each of us is appreciated long after we are gone? Most of my own life's work has already been thrown in a dumpster (figurative or literal, with a lot of it being software) I am sure. Some will survive for centuries, but with no clue left that I played a part in making it what it is. A few things will be attributed to me, if anyone bothers to research the history behind them, which is far from certain. That's OK. Making the world a very slightly better place is just as good, whether you get credit for it in the future, or not. Please do make sure to take really good photos of Joy's art, regardless of where the paintings themselves end up. Art documented digitally online, have a good chance of surviving longer into future, longer than the physical art. Maybe when you're old, there will be ways to contribute it to a collection of royalty-free art, or digital galleries, where it will be appreciated by many. There are of course photo websites where you can pretty much do that now.

She can’t. It’s about $5,300 a month and she has about $18,000 left. Next up, when she gets to $3,000 working on getting her a waiver. It’s exhausting!
