I think the problem with the prosthetics is because of the color difference. There's a lot of green, dark green, and yellow, and there's a lot of contrast to all of them. It doesn't seem natural for real life lizard to have such a large contrast in color, and the Silurians didn't have such a contrast before.

Yeah i think it’s the colouring that’s making it look a bit cheaper.

This looks VERY Matt Smith-era Who to me. Every time the doctor appeared i was thinking of 11 as much as 15. I imagine it'll be bonkers, timey-wimey, just the usual things we would expect from Moffat.

yh, i could see that. it’s definitely the Moffat showing through. it’s like when people mentioned that a lot of the Doctor’s lines in Boom sound very 12th Doctor.
