i personally love seeing your product vids - you’re still figuring out what works best like the rest of us and i appreciate you taking us through the process of how you apply, style, diffuse etc. it’s been helpful as a fellow fine, curly haired! just bought a few of the products cause your volume is 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾

So much volume! I really struggle with volume, and I love Briogeo so these products are possible for me to use later on! I might purchase the leave in this Black Friday! You have the same curl type as me, and you really encourage me to not give up on getting my hair back to its normal curly self since I heat damaged it for many years! Thank you 🧡

I had high hopes and tried both these products on my 3A/3B hair and it did nothing for me. My hair actually has more volume without it. It also left my hair feeling kind of rough when I washed it all out. Not sure what happened, but I ended up returning it for a refund. It just didn’t work out for me even after using the diffuser.

I love your results🥳 but I'm giving up on my curly journey. Finding products that leave my curls plump and happy is very difficult. Off the self items are just too heavy.
@mb7714 жыл бұрын
Noo, don’t give up! My hair is also very sensitive and gets weighed down very easily. I also wanted to give up but I just put way less product on my hair and it really is working. Try a hair milk for a leave in, and a liquid gel. The curly journey takes months and even years of patience, I have been on my journey for 3 years now and I’m just starting to get a good routine. It can be frustrating but don’t give up!

@@mb771 thank you. This is my first yr on the journey. I have seen many videos where they suggest milk leave ins....thank you thank you

Thanks for watching! But don’t give up, I know it can feel tiresome to find the right products, but once you do, it’s so worth it to see your curls thrive in good health! I know what you mean, I don’t like heavy products either, but these are pretty lightweight
@ana-74214 жыл бұрын
Aww I hope you don’t give up! Are you indian? I am too, obv I know we might have different hair textures/curl patterns but I really like Shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie... on its own, it feels too heavy for me, so I usually have to do half parts product/half parts water and that helps. Anyway, I really hope you find something that works for you!

I love your hair because it’s more on the fine side like mine! My hair was looking amazing and then I colored it @ DevaCurl and I feel like I cant get it like it was when i had my virgin hair. If you see this, what would you recommend or what would you do?
@JoyBeforeHer4 жыл бұрын
Sorry to hear that. Did you dye it lighter? My curls went limp when I went bright blonde so I dyed it a bit darker and that worked. Use olaplex (I have a video on it) and deep condition your hair once a week. Don’t put any heat or color on it until your hair gets back to health
@CECE-sm1xy4 жыл бұрын
@@JoyBeforeHer Yes, I dyed it lighter twice. Used olaplex, but the 2nd time they used bleach for a lighter look. I deep condition every Monday w/ the garnier masks. I have no idea where to go for haircuts anymore since I don’t use DevaCurl anymore! :(

I really like your videos but lately you only do sponsored content, and that makes me question if it is genuine your review and your Chanel because looks like you don’t enjoy uploading videos here anymore and the only reason you do is because of the sponsorship so you have to put up the content. I know you will probably say if I didn’t love this products I wouldn’t do a partnership with them but that is besides the point, because I’m not against sponsors you have to make your living as well that is just normal and you have earned the right to get paid for your content, but is not nice anymore to watch the videos when every video is a partnership with a brand, would be nice to see some real and raw content in between as well. You are so beautiful and your curls are gorgeous so would be nice see more tutorials and you actually using products that you really use on the daily bases without the sponsorship 🤷🏻♀️😘
@JoyBeforeHer4 жыл бұрын
Hi Felina, when I'm not posting here as much, I'm usually posting on Instagram. I've posted a ton of unsponsored videos over the years. Keep in mind that this a review channel, meaning the point of my channel is to review new products. I don't post the same products over and over because I already reviewed them. I work with new brands often to show you guys new products out there and how they work. All my content is raw and real whether sponsored or not. It's unfortunate that when I'm really excited about a brand and their products, people think it's not real. For me, it's always genuine. Keep in mind that we have lives outside of youtube, and I explained in my last life update video that I was going through some personal things this year. If I haven't been posting as much, just know it's for a reason, but when I do post, it's always real and intentional. I do have a list of unsponsored videos coming up, but please remember even if they're sponsored that does not mean it's not my true opinion. Honestly I don't use one brand on a daily basis. I have so many products that I rotate often so I can try new things. I'll be posting more next year though. Thanks for your support.
