You can conflate the racism of an individual with institutional, systemic racism if you choose but in reality they're actually two very different things. Whitewashing history doesn't change the facts so feel free to continue pushing your false narrative...you can eloquently talk nonsense but it's still nonsense.

DA B I S H SD i am rather aware of the diffrences because of our history. But should you blame the man who only planted a seed for his children. So they could eat the apples of the tree? Back in the old days we fought for land and resources and europeans where good at it. So we must feel guilty because our grandparents made shit happen? Am i suppose to be angry at the japanese because they mutulated my grandfather? Or should i look at my own life and area i live. And act as i want to. Ofcourse there are major disadvantages in the world. But also look at the good thing europeans brought to the world. They gave infrastructure housing a working government. Trust in unity and a society that the world hadnt seen in thousands of years. We can cry all we want about the past. But we must look at the future
@1075986 жыл бұрын
DA B I S H SD im quite aware of your history and the rest of the world. Maybe we misunderstood each other. All i think is that indeed the world is unfair. And wether this was done by your ancestors or not should not matter. I am not above anyone neither is any person above me. But i dislike the anti white attitude nowadays. I see the same in europe. And it is something that annoys me.

You all shouldn't feel offended even if it wasn't the same rapper because if you can't acknowledge those downfalls of your culture but can only acknowledge the downfalls of whites then you'll forever be ok with the blame game and not be able to address these issues. Just as the white guy was stereotyping, the black guy was also.

Yes very valid point with that word. It's said in music, everyday life etc and has become the norm so when white kids use it they're using it because it has been made into an everyday "cool" thing. They're not saying it to be racist they're saying it because it's in all their favourite songs, all their favourite rappers are saying it, they're black friends are saying it and then they're crucified for saying it themselves. You can't be boss of a word and exploit it everyday and then turn around and complain when a White kid uses it.

I think reacting to this video the first time you see it has its flaws, because it takes a while to understand the message, it is only after half way through the large white guy's verse do you realise the message, which is criticism and empathy. I think the first half of the reaction you focused too much on your feelings toward the criticism, because it seemed to be coming from a white guy. Whereas, in reality it was an introspective look from Joyner himself. It was a self-critique. To which Joyner then responded by illuminating the context. It was a discussion/debate of a nuanced and incredibly complex sociopolitical history. There were a lot of deep thoughts/themes protested by Joyner in the first verse, simply because he was saying it himself. I don't know if you gave Joyner enough credit for this. Anyway, I am sure a second listen will hit your hard.

Interesting how you dont see your own, quite obvious, hypocrisy in your comment. You say that "95% of blacks with their biased mentality" which is in itself a racist comment as you are assuming all black people react the same way with their "biased mentality" to the video. Im white and i was offended by the entire first part as well, as its the common conservative ignorance that "most" (or 95% as you would incorrectly state) of the black community already recognizes. Such a shame that you and everyone who liked your comment can't seem to grasp the racism in your own comment.

@Jay-vd2jn6 жыл бұрын
??What the fuck are you talking about lol. If it were real, (white man saying this stuff to the black man first) they have every fucking right to be offended at that shit. The black person rapping after the white man played a huge role in this, the white man started off pointing out shit wrong with the black culture and the black man refuted his arguments in the same tone the white man started it off as. If it were vice versa, they would probably agree that the black man would be lashing out on the white man too aggressively but its because of the fact that the black man went first and they couldn't possibly know the intent of the song. I agree they started off too heavy on the white man but not only should that have been expected but look at it from a black person's perspective, trying to listen to the song without knowing what would happen, no fucking shit they would've got mad. Hell, regardless if these two were different colors, religion, race, etc, the reaction would've been the fucking same if they saw someone lashing out on another human like this. The argument "wow the black man had the same tone as the white man and they didn't get mad" was stupid as fuck because in the situation the black man was defending himself and most people would support this stance because of it.

You guys missed the entire point of the music video because of your bias. From the beginning you were against the white guy and ignored what he was trying to say, and agreed with everything the black guy said. The entire point of the video is to show that both sides are kind of wrong, both sides are kind of right, and neither one understands each other. But we should WANT to understand each other. "Two sides to every story, and I wish you knew mine."

Ben Boca because they are black.. and in the end they did understand the point of the video so u are ignorant asf. do u expect them to know whats going on in the beginning of the video when all they see is a white guy throwing racial slurs.

The white man is suppose to represent a racist guy smartone they wasnt being biased the white man is bringing up racist stereotypes that racist people just assume of black people

if you're black and get mad at the first part and hype at the second, you didn't get the point of the song if you're white and get hype at the first part and mad at the second, you didn't get the point of the song
@MrXmoda6 жыл бұрын
By cheering for the black guy rapping just shows you’re blatantly picking sides who’s isn’t the right approach yes most the points the white dude made are silly and false but the way many think so it’s important to listen and see where maybe they come from then like the black dude did explain why what and what is wrong

See, you guys missed the point, it’s not about the white argument and the black argument, it’s about the misunderstanding between the two cultures. I agree with things said on both sides of the fence, and if you don’t or picked a side then you missed the point.

There is no ''misunderstanding'', they are just aggreeing with the fact that there is not 1 side at fault. Everyone wants these people to say: ''OH YEAH ITS ALL OUR FAULT HAHAHA, WHY DIDNT I SEE THAT, IM SO DUMB''. No. Theres 2 sides and there are 2 people right, and there are 2 people wrong...

This is one of the best reactions I've seen on this song. Each and every one of your reactions was genuine. All have different facial expressions throughout the video and the audience could really see your feelings through body language. Best part was when you all wanted them to hug and make it up. Beautiful, truly beautiful. All of you keep grinding on this channel and your hard work will pay off. Godspeed

It shouldn’t matter what color your skin is, your political views, or your sexual orientation. We are all people at the end of the day we are Americans, one nation united forever. When shit hits the fan we fight back. At the end of the day we should love and respect one another. No more All lives matter or Black lives matter. We should all be on one team.
