As a Mexican one of my best friends a big fat black dude that was part of our neighborhood click. We were only missing an Indian dude to complete the ethnicity rainbow. He would tell me to mow the lawn and I would tell him I would if he fried me some chicken. I would mow the lawn, he would make tacos. It was funny. I miss the days where we could make fun of each other's stereotypes and laugh at it together. That level of trust and understanding is long gone. People have seem to have lost the ability to know when someone has malice v.s. someone who has enough trust in you to joke about things that we all know don't really matter. Taking power away from words designed to bring others down is how we bring people together. Vice versa, calling everyone and everything racist takes power away from that word to a point where being called racist has no more meaning. Being able to joke and be teased back with your brothers knowing there's no malice makes everything funnier and helps us bond.

I joined the Navy when I was 19. During basic training, I was standing a mid-watch with a Hispanic guy in my training company. Now, there was no reason for us to stand a mid-watch, outside, during basic training other than to deprive us from sleep, but there we were. We just sort of clicked. I forget how it happened, but we starting playing the "Why do white/Hispanic people do...". I still remember asking why so many Hispanic people were named "Jesus" and he responded, "That's 'He-sus' man.". I actually learned something and we both had a good time. Well, as good as you can have getting sleep deprived during basic training on a cold November night. :)

All of us did this growing up, actually here in Florida we are soooo united that it's actually a thing we do here and fuck with each other non stop. Our black community acts no different than anyone else. They come out in public and there's no issues. I don't understand where all the issues came from in the last few years.

11:20 That bit is from an episode where Peter was brainwashed into being feminine and thinking he was a woman. Cleveland took him to the million man march as a way to be around men in an effort to make him remember he's a man. Then this happened. Peter was speaking as a "woman" speaking to men, and not necessarily as a white man speaking to black men, but that's how the scene plays out. It's even funnier in context than just by itself.

The one joke that was like Scooby Doo with the Harlem Globetrotters isn’t about Republicans not wanting to high five a black guy. The joke was about John McCain not being able to raise his arms above his chest to high five a basketball player due to being tortured as a prisoner of war in Vietnam. I’ve seen this compilation on a few channels and I think the original person who put it together misunderstood the premise and context of the joke and that episode.

I love this! I wish the whole world could laugh about themselfs. I'm German and nothing cracks me up more than people roasting Germany or doing nazi jokes. I really don't understand why people gotta take everything so serious. We only got one life so lets have as much fun as possible :D Much love to everyone reading this

I feel very blessed to have been part of such a musically talented generation. It's great to see the younger generation take such an interest in a time when you heard raw and pure talent. RIP Eddie you will forever be a legend . Fly high and play for the other angels in heaven.❤

This is hilarious! By joking and laughing together in good fun it helps us all appreciate our differences. The kids are being taught to hate each other for false reasons. Let’s teach them to laugh together!

11:21 I always loved this self own of the Family Guy staff. They make him say they are responsible for the crime and violence in the country, then they animate the black people forming a lawless mob attacking him for words, as if to prove the point Peter's dumb ass never actually made but they believe themselves.

As a 59 year old white dude, I love to see young people still able to see this type of humor for what it is. Reminds me of being a kid and watching blazing saddles. Even at 10 years old i understood Mel Brooks genius for what it was, a commentary on the European exagerated understanding of African American culture.

The Sammy Davis Jr joke was from the mid 60s Batman TV show. Whenever the duo were climbing a building it was an opportunity for less relevant or "has been" stars to get in a cameo appearance by conversing with Batman as he climbed by. It became "a thing" after Sammy did it and was the inspiration for "The Wall" of star guests telling one liners on Laugh In a few years later.

I feel the dude in the black hoodie sitting quietly. Most of those jokes I guess were meant to make fun of racism but didn't really land as universally funny. When Dave Chapelle, Bill Burr made fun of white people, like myself, I laughed my butt off!

I liked the parody of Batman 66 with Brian and Stuey climbing the building. Sammy Davis Jr. actually did that kind of window scene with Batman and Robin. Frank Sinatra also did a climbing scene, but not together with Sammy Davis.
