It’s a privilege to be one of the humans that gets to listen to Dave. Many people play guitar, but not nearly as many people play with such raw passion and feeling like Dave.

I got one of the new JaCkMan II XL’s coming tomorrow on the fedex truck. This was the best demo I’ve seen of this amp. Enjoyed the playing style and choice of tones to show this off. This is exactly why I’m buying it. I’m just an old school rocker and this really is a classic sound.

I have the Joyo meteOR. I don't run it through a cab (I don't have one!) but connect the effects send of the bantamp to the effects return of my katana 100/212. I can crank the tube preamp and still use the katana poweramp to dial everything from home to gig volume. It's a great piece of kit.

I have to wonder what voltage the tube is being run at. I remember pedals that would run an ax7 at low voltage, in which case it isn't actually operating as a tube, and is decoration more than anything else. Though there were some pedals that operated the tube(s) at sufficient voltage.

Great tones coming from the Joyo sounds very similar to the Orange Micro .A lot players won’t come down to the Joyo level they make some great stuff. I was gonna get one of these but after many reviews I came to the conclusion that this amp won't work with me pedal board either and that's why I didn't buy it, but don't fret, I got a new toy any how, I got an old James brown 5150 fame peavey Bravo all tube monster 3 channel amp for $100 off Craigslist and it's way better more tone than my jcm head unit so it's great, just not powerful enough on its own ! PS Dave Simpson,I really liked the clean channel sounds of your joyo, it's sounds just like an old jcm head set to clean gain and it's really does sound authentic and even better with light reverb !

I play every day and every night. Dave has shown me that I am not alone! I don't record or video my sessions. maybe I should and post them on my channel. Don't go there yet because what I have is from 2013 right after messing up my left hand and my playing is not so good. Also I was just getting back into playing after having given up because of neck and spine injuries. Which have through years of yoga finally stopped hurting me and I can hold a guitar and use a strap once more. I play violin and viola too but my injuries still won't allow me to play them for more than 10 min. once a week. Pain comes and puts me into the bed with ice. I used to take pain pills under Doctors guidance. I stopped that and I'm glad I did. So yes, Dave Simpson is showing us all that we can live for guitar playing.

I noticed there’s definitely some frusciante solo style influences in the intro, sounds pretty cool dude
