This is the only Reverb pedal that I use. It is so versatile. You can spend hours and hours going thru all of the settings. This pedal is certainly one of those pedals that you get a lot of bang for your buck.

If you hear the hum in some settings as others may say, just turn the back swith that controls the lights to always on. The Sync setting was causing it.

I've had one for about a year and it's been a great, solid workhorse of a pedal for me. I leave it in Church mode most of the time, but almost all of the modes are great and really useable. The only one I'm somewhat disappointed with is the Rewind. I also have an Oceans 11 and its reverse is much more dynamic. That said, there's a significant price difference between the two and overall, I think the Atmosphere punches above its price point. Great review and playing.

@@cgonzt5636 It's a pretty good pedal. But, if you don't need more than one at a time, personally I'd stick with the Oceans 11. That said, I really like running them both together using different modes on each. Of course, I'm delving into my shoegaze roots pretty heavily when I do this.

What power supply are you using. I have the Donner daisy chain but haven't used it yet. I really want this pedal, but I'm really confused on how to power it. There are many budget power supplies which are said not to be truly isolated. I'm not wanting to spend that much on a Vodoo or I spot. Joyo makes a power supply. What would you suggest. Thanks for the great demo.

Sadly not, some of the reverbs have quite long decays though :)

Sadly, I don't have a Shimverb Pro here, I have the Mooer Ocean Machine and RV X2, I'll try to get my hands on one though :) Thanks for the suggestion!

I had that shimverb from mooer but it sounded really plastic compared to some of the atmosphere presets from joyo 😄

if you turn off the bypass, there would still be trail of the reverb's decay. usually pedals without this feature would cut off the signal/trail of the reverb's decay once the pedal is off.

Ce pedal que j'ai rêvé d'avoir je l'ai commandé chez #Thomann #france mais comme trois articles précédents, je ne sais pas si c'est de la mauvaise chance le pedal est défectueux et le renvoyer peut encore me coûter cher et je ne trouve pas ça très honnête. Le pedal a marché juste une fois et refuse de marcher avec ses effets. Le truc qu'on appuie pour permettre le pedal de s'allumer ne fonctionne pas.🇰🇲🇰🇲🇰🇲🙏

If money it's not an issue then get the RV6, that being said this is a solid option.

rv6 sounds way more hi fidelity. this one has modulated options but the rv6 modulated is good enough . context v2 would be my next choice or blue sky

I just filmed a comparison, editing it today! The RV-6 handles your dry signal better I'd say, and then the Atmosphere gives extra control over its algorithms + has a few more strange, interesting sounds in it. depends on what you're looking for in a reverb really :)

@@RyanLutton Yeah, cool xcited about it!! I just got a Rv6 a for a few days and it sounds great. I like the Plate, room, and the shimmer with the tone ar 9 o clock really nice. But its very hight fidelity. inho it suits warmer sounding amps better. My Marshall doesnt do so good with it but the Fenderstyle amp does pretty well. Can you recommend a Reverb that suits well with a Marshall amp or marshallstyle amps....thx

I bought this pedal but in my opinion all reverb modes sound the same with the exception of spring, shimmer and eko verb. Bit of a waste of money in my opinion

That's a shame! A great alternative (also budget) is the Flamma FS02 Reverb.. be sure to look into that if you're thinking about another reverb :)

At this point I've been through so many budget reverb pedals and think the Strymon Blue Sky is probably more of what I'm after but thanks for the advice on the Flamma 🙂

hi, I own this effect but the amount of volume it subtracts is incredibly high, even 50%. Have any of you encountered the same problem?
