I made these and they were fantastic with dried cranberries, I normally make my mothers' English scones which are also fab. Thank you so much for your attention to details and giving on screen measurements. I was able to make these while watching your instructions and they turned out perfect! This recipe is a keeper!

Hi.. just wanted to say thanks for this amazing recipe, I just tried it and it was so very tasty, I had to use dried cranberries because I live in Trinidad and obviously we don't have fresh cranberries on our island. It is my first time making scones and your very simple and easy to follow tutorial made this recipe easy for me to follow, I highly recommend this recipe, thanks again, hugs from Trinidad.

Absolutely lovely! Stephanie, I am curious: what is the main difference between a scone and a biscuit? The ingredients seems very similar...is it that scones tend to be more sweet, whereas biscuits are more savory? Thank you!

There are different way to make scones. For this scone I wanted it to be more bread-like, so I didn't add an egg. If you wanted to use an egg, you can reduce the milk to 1/2 cup (120 ml) and add one egg.
