As a pwm controller for these brushed motor dont go for costly solutions just take arduino nano, nrf24L01 transmitter and receiver, one c945 transistor and then u can control the speed of drone brushed motor via standard arduino PWM pins.

you may like... took a 2.4ghz 3ch heli apart, 2 motors on wing for power and differential steering, the 3rd motor on the tail boom (blade horizontal) acts as elevator. it flies like, and the controls are the same as a typical 3ch airplane, surprisingly well too. edit, for motor mounts used 2 short sections of CF arrow shaft slit down the side, the motors pinch into them tight, and they are glued into the wing. easy to replace motors if needed.

Why do all use brushed motors for micro rc? There are also very light brushless available. Just curious

In December 2019 I did the Maiden with my conversion of the Lidl. The Motor is mounted on the vertical stabilizer. For the Elevator i usd Kind o a Vector-steering. A servo bends the fuselage so the Motor and the Horizontal stabilizer move.
