Do you mean the final move? Bd5? It's not that the move itself was amazing. Alireza just moved it out of the way of the rook. But with white being up a pawn and two full pieces, there is essentially nothing black can do. Nepo could have continued, but in high-level play, it's considered polite to resign in such a lost position, as the result is a foregone conclusion.
