Way crazier in a small venue when they are headlining their own show and have full reign of the stage effects. If you ever get a chance to see them don't hesitate. One of the best shows i've ever been to. Just bought tickets to go see them again in June :D

How does this band's music still hit me the same way it did literally 20 years ago? The only difference is that many of the lyrics from TDAG have a harder impact after surviving two wars, losing close friends to drugs and suicide, starting a family, starting a business. Sometimes it's a blessing & other times it doesn't do the original any justice... Shows that Jesse is a humble son of a bitch, even though he's considered one of the best songwriters in the field of alt-rock/emo. Saw Brand New at Give It A Name 2007 in London and it’s still one of the best sets I’ve ever seen a band play - these guys were absolutely streets ahead of Thursday, Taking Back Sunday etc and that’s saying something because they’re both great bands as well in their own rights!

If i asked the next 100 people if they have heard of Brand New their immediate response would be 'what brand new album are you talking about?' Its never a direct response to the *band* Brand New but a confused mistaken question for something out that theyd consider to be 'brand new'. I fucking *love* this band.
