So glad I found this competition. So many new bladesmiths to follow and learn from. Ive seen copper inlay but wasn't sure you could forge weld then. Can't wait to get a little more experience and give it a go, it looks amazing.

Thanks for watching. With copper your not forge welding. Its more of a brazing. You dont want to get it forge welding temp because it wants to leak out. So hou have to get it just before its melting temp and it will stick. Good luck.

Thank you. I actually wanted to do the top layer dark as well but unfortunately i didnt have the right kind of steel at hand. But i love the light grey i ended up with as well.

Honestly I don't know which one I like more: with copper or nickel silver! Both looks very cool with this black edge! Great job Bro! I like the guard: Thanks to this 4 bends it's very original!
