Maynard has been an idol and inspiration in my life since i was 17, im 35. His lyrics in Aenima intrduced me to Jungian Psychology, which now I have a BA in, and want a MA in Jungian psychology as well. His scarce public showings, i would guess, is his way of saving his own ego, not to feed it too much, then his other psychological goals, inspirations wouldnt have a door, through the subconscious only at best. He's more comfortable, I have to try this wine, oh yes, i have to try this. WOW.

I love how he mentions Bill Hicks. My adoration for both Tool and Bill Hicks makes me excited when I hear or see any relation between the two apart from what I already knew. Third Eye, Bill's re-occuring theory and finally referred to as the opening of the third eye, plays such a large role in AEnima.
