Sure, Canelo landed 4 more power shots, but GGG out-landed him in by 49 in total and had Canelo on the backfoot almost the entire fight. You can be the less aggressive fighter and still outbox your opponent like Floyd always did, but Canelo didn't do that at all. It was a good fight, but GGG clearly won.

Canelo won 7 - 5,,, yeah GGG was the aggressor but his punches didn’t do anything.(GGG's Jabs were like little pats or hit nothing but air) Canelo truly boxed and fought a smart Fight. idk Gabriel, That's kinda a strong assertion. Which is why the draw makes more sense. All depends on how you scored rounds 1 and 6. 2, 3 ,10,11 & 12 for Canelo, and 4, 5, 7, 8 & 9 for GGG. So whatever is done with those toss up rounds determine whether either fighter gets a slight nod or if it goes to draw.

I only saw the last five rounds. I thought it was a great fight. I'm no boxing expert but it looked pretty competitive, not a blow out like people are saying. I thought Canelo did well the last maybe 3 rounds and looked pretty smooth and was landing some good shots. But I was also impressed with how GGG just kept coming forward, tireless and unfazed. Both warriors, both great chins, GGG is ridiculous walking through about 8 punches in round 12. I had it 115-113. 7 rounds to 5 for GGG win. Great fight, GGG had ring control, pressure and throwing punches for 30 minutes, although less accurate and not as many significant blows as Canelo who fought a combined 6 minutes, very little control and pressure although better defence and accuracy. GGG unfortunately is getting slower, hopefully he watches this fight and spots canleos repetitive tendencies and puts on a better show next time, even though this was world class from both.

In the first fight GGG landed more jabs and controlled the ring better whilst Canelo landed more power punches and had the better defense. In the 2nd fight GGG still landed more jabs but did not control the ring better whilst Canelo still landed more power punches, had the better defense, and came forward more. In my opinion, a draw isn’t a bad decision for the first fight but if it had to go to one fighter I’d say either one could’ve got it. But the 2nd fight was clearly won by Canelo.
