Ancient Indian text is not part of western civilisation. And if it is then ancient Iraqi text is also ‘western’ and therefore the oldest. Or was this text written west of the Middle East? And if the argument is that Indo European culture is western because the west part of it then it is also part of Eastern, and considering where the texts created, as far as I know, were from the east then it is even more so eastern.

The Last time I smoked DMT while on a mild dose of LSD was pretty Interesting: I was greeted by the “tunnel” who many describe as the area before the breakthrough. However I’m pretty sure thatthe tunnel is actually a “gatekeeper” of sorts to the other realms. it’s almost akin to a living multi dimensional depiction of the Mayan calander. After my soul/intentions/being were tried and weighed by him I was then was greeted by this Orange-ish multidimensional being made of something like “fractals”. It kindof greeted me with much love but also “poked fun” at me like an old family member that I hadn’t seen in several lifetimes. Then a behemoth of a blue-ish multi dimensional fractal like elephant “floated” over from in the “distance” and extended its “trunk” and took a piece of my “being” and “flew away” that being had very child-like energy.. it was like a child stealing an item and running away. After that I started coming back.. it’s difficult for our tangible bodies to retain that information in full. But In a nutshell what joe and these guys are talking about rings true. There is more beyond this reality.

A few ink caps have sprouted on the wooded path near my farm. On the look out for Chicken of the Woods, Cep Chanterelle etc, no doubt will find in the next few weeks. Plenty of Death Caps too at the moment to be aware of. On the psychedelic front I haven't found any Fly Agaric yet but many Liberty Caps, around 500 picked on Sunday morning. Good times.

The right dose of shrooms can give you the experience of death, it's when you take just enough to be sent on a trip but not enough to get you there very fast. What happens is all of your senses slowly fade out before you trip. Like turning down the brightness on your monitor slowly until it's black. For me, the experience removed any fear of death because while it was scary at the time, looking back on it just reminds me that there are worse things than dying, and the truth is that dying isn't all that scary

The Rg Veda is indeed very old. But it's not part of "western literature"... India isn't in the West Culturally; maybe he meant "eastern". And though Sanskrit is indeed an old Indo-European (IE) language, it's not the "mother tongue of all IE languages". Sanskrit, like Latin (and other IE languages), came from much older IE sources (Proto-Indo-European languages and early Indo-European languages)... Sanskrit is an IE language that evolved in South-East Asia without influencing Western languages (of course it did influence many SE Asian languages). The similarities between Sanskrit and Western languages exist because of more ancient IE and PIE sources that are common to some European and Asian languages, but Sanskrit itself didn't directly influence Western languages (a few Indian words were borrowed during the British Raj, like pajama, but that is way more recent and those words directly came from modern Indian languages likes Hindi). B. Muraresku's statements in this video are partially false and misleading... His statements on drugs in religion, although appealing, seem to mostly be speculations based on vague references to ancient beverages. He himself states that they don’t know which plants were used… Drugs were obviously used in ancient times (in religious and non-religious contexts), but we must be careful when we study history; we have to avoid creating fantasies that we would love to be true but are just fantasies… There’s this whole idea today that psychedelics are cool and ancient cultures were cool, so ancient cultures must have been utopian hippy communes destroyed by evil modernity. It’s appealing and romantic but not necessarily true (and in my opinion it is as silly as saying that psychedelics are pure evil and people who take them are insane criminals).

As a person who has done psychedelics I know what its like to come out with a lack or no fear of death. But as some one who later discovered the truth of Jesus the Christ and His offering of His life for my sins, I realized that it doesn't matter if I was not afraid of death, death will still come and a judgment would await all those who were not right with God. You can shut down the fear of danger but the danger is still there. It is only through the life giving sacrifice of Jesus, as he offered His life up to God as an offering for our guilt before Him. He has paid our debt and in Him, when we accept His offer we have eternal life.

As a scientist, I do not agree with some of the behavior Graham indulges in, such as building a story from a small piece of mostly anecdotal evidence (except the genetic code, that's 100% scientific). I think this discussion and other discussions with Graham lack the Indian perspective; therefore, I am writing this. Having said that, I grew up in India as a Brahmin and went through all the ceremonies that totally resonate with the shamanic practices that Graham describes. While being inducted into manhood, I participated (most brahmins do) in a ceremony where they created a sweat lodge-like environment with lots of "incense" that now does not have psychedelic chemicals afaik, but I can totally see it being that way in the past since Indian sages used the same technique to connect to "gods." Hindus are also ridiculed for drinking cow urine that could be a shamanic practice and resonates with what Graham describes. Not to forget that Naga sages actually smoke marijuana and practice drinking their own urine to connect with "gods" to this day. Another thing that connects with another episode with graham is the importance of snakes in Hinduism. There is a place in India called Trimbak (There must be many, but I visited this one personally) where Indians from all over come to worship Naag (king cobra). Sheshnaag is also central to Hindu mythology. It is strange enough for me to observe that snakes and ravens are considered to be connected to the afterlife in Hinduism and Norse mythology (my knowledge is very superficial on the Norse mythology), but it explains because Sanskrit and germanic languages most likely have a common ancestor. However, finding similar behavior in north America is uncanny. Also, another story about serpents found in Hindu mythology is Samudra Manthan, where with a serpent, gods extract the solution of immortality (It resonates with the basket that Graham talked about that is found in Sumer and Native American sculptures). I told the stories above just to contribute to the discussion. Please do not think I agree with connecting the dots with folkshore to be considered truth. However, I also think that such stories and anecdotes are important to gather as they might explain the cultural-historical interactions and exchanges that could better elucidate human migration.

What’s the difference from where the quality content is coming from? If he does it from a dumpster I’ll still watch it. Doesn’t make any difference. But, people are people.

I try to convince as many people as I can to do LSD. It’s such an eye opening experience if done with the right mindset. I’ve tripped 35 times now and I haven’t had a bad experience yet. Time to find DMT

So much of everything said was spot on. I don't indulge anymore but for me it helped me look at my life from an outside point of view and showed me what I was doing wrong which is the first step to self improvement. My life changed for the better as I grew older and wiser and I am still working on things.

Milk in Sanskrit was either dudhy or kheer (kheer ), ow why is that that's because in ancient India milk is never consumed directly , milk is either made into curd or yoghurt (like Greek yogurt) , because ancient can't digest milk so well
