One thing I always respected about Joey Diaz he never hide the influence African/Black has on Latin culture especially Cuban, Dominican, PR, Panama, Colombian, Brazil and Mexico.

There are Afro-Mexicans but overall Mexico doesn't have anywhere as much Black/African influence as the others you mentioned.

Ellegua ain't always a villain he's a god that can be summoned to do bad or good. Personally he's the coolest of the Orisha and if I were a santerian he'd be the god that has the best relationship with me can't complain about the OG orisha because he's that god - a badass trickster! DEFINITELY cooler than Loki

Never thought a Joe Rogan video would make me think of my mother's cousin and or neighbors across the street when I was a kid. The grandfather in that family wore all white every day.

I love Joey Diaz, very sympathetic guy. Would like to go on a weekend binge drink with him just to hear his life stories. The powder in the story was probably Scopolamine.
@elaunay22 жыл бұрын
There's no way. Scoplomine would do alot more to someone than what happened. It's literally a 24hr+ hell trip with visuals indistinguishable from reality

Joey's a badass dude and I'm actually happy he's talking about Santeria. The way he actually tried to explain is actually unique and African religions are my favorite subject I mean I'm a Voodooist of Haitian Voodoo but Santeria has always been my favorite religion to study. Stay blessed and be safe Joey. #JoeRogan4life

@@michaelpatterson9119 it's fine man because to each their own and I'm glad you're being respectful but dude voodoo and Santeria are not evil and never will be unless we allow ourselves to succumb to darkness and I choose to be a good person! Stay blessed and be safe bro

@@AsNodtYhwachson-cl4znthank you.people just want the dirt on any culture and belief system so they can call there system superior.most info, books and documentaries focus on the dark aspects of cultures they do not understand.i believe cultures that are older than written records hold more weight than religions that where forced on people on pain of death if they did not convert.too many countries to list practiced this barbarism.the Romans,the franks,the vandals,the Lombards,the Turks,the eastern Roman's the bizantities,the French tried to eradicate all religion and look how turned out.sorry for the rant but the history of religion is the very reason so many atrocities have taken place and still are.

@@michaelpatterson9119I'm sorry bro I'm just very easily offended because of a lot of rude people. Once again I am very sorry but bro you don't have to worry about this or that because personally bro I don't use the negative side of my religion unless I am very angry or offended but you got nothing to worry about bro just let's realize we're both regular dudes just trying to live their lives and want to be happy in them.

I've noticed skeptics get nervous and laugh the more they hear, like they're afraid of being enticed into something they want to reject but are curious to explore... Anyone who hasn't chosen to explore their spirituality or religious side and then consciously chosen their path at some point always seems stunted maturity wise to me. But that is their choice in this life.
