Glad you all are enjoying the video! I want to quickly address some things. For starters, this car fully optioned is over $60,000 NOT anywhere close to $35,000 anymore. It is no longer an inexpensive car like a lot of people are commenting. This is now E class, A6, 5 series, Cadillac, etc kind of money. I get that this car costs way less than my Model X, but like I expressed in the video, I wish there were some additional features included or at least available as an option. A simple heads up display would have been beautiful on this car for example! I believe Tesla will address some of these common concerns with simple updates. Of course this car will eventually be fully self driving (so the driver won't need as much interaction) but the current setup is not ideal at the moment. The ACC speed adjustments need to be updated. BTW, I'm 6'5 for everyone wondering! Those backseats are not for me lol. Again, this car is a game changer for the automotive industry and we are excited to see it help lead the way for electric vehicles. Will it get better and better as time goes on? YES! I stand behind Tesla all the way:) -JR

Why are you using the Key Card instead of using the Tesla App on your phone? The Key Card is just a backup. The App on your phone is supposed to be the main key.... just walk up and it unlocks. Walk away and it locks.

No software update can fix the absence of gauge cluster on Model 3. They should have had small display in front of the driver with only critical information. Hopefully when lots of Model 3 owners complain about this, they will add it in the coming years.

I probably can't drive a model 3 because I have to use reading glasses. I'd most likely have to put my glasses on every time I used the touch screen. That's asking for a crash.

The center display is almost a fail for Tesla, why, it's very distracting and sort of complex. For example, you'll need to touch TWO (or maybe more) buttons to get to the glovebox (I would've been happy with just a handle) and most people would love to have the gauge cluster in front of them, not to the center display. Lastly, almost everything is cluster on one screen...literally, why not two separate screens?

Unfortunately, I’d hesitate to loan the Model 3 to someone who has no experience driving one because common sense lends to the idea that the learning curve for a Model 3 for a “once in a while user” would be incredibly frustrating without the owner in the car.

The model they have is at least $45k. The human factors is worse than a $15k car. Frankly in my state if you spent that much time on your phone screen that you are required for basic driving functions you would get pulled over. Less safe, period.

It's $60,000.. sorry nothing cheap about that. I can buy better cars for less. The display would drive me nuts. Yes they can fix some things with updates. But how did some.of these ideas get out of committee meetings... Ohh.. I know let's put the cruise control and wiper speed control on the touch screen. Absolutely idiotic.. You covered the biggest concern I have right now, which is changing the autopilot speed. I really hope Tesla will update that fast so you can chance the speed with the right scroll wheel on the steering wheel. I do have a question too: how do you fold in the mirrors from inside the car? I need that all the time on my Model X. Also, I guess you can turn off auto-folding-mirrors (which is important in the winter), is there any way to tell if the car is locked or unlocked then?

It's neat, but it doesn't work as well in the real world :(

JR Garage yeah, would be nice if they could have included a small screen just behind the steering wheel to put basic things like speed, and the next turn you need to take. On my dads Ford Explorer, it’ll tell him the turns like your Model X does, and it was the same price as the Model 3. I hope you attribute well to it, and can’t wait to see more videos on the car!

You feel like Tesla is taking a step back in a car that's half the price? No wai!

Tesla should add a function that would let you adjust the follow distance and speed on the steering wheel thumbwheels. That way you can adjust while looking at the road, by feel.

Colin Fox I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if this is added with over the air software updates in the near future, owning one now is guaranteed to have some early adoption issues as with all things

Nice Model 3 Video! Thank‘s. What can you tell us about the building quality of the car?

Well one good thing about having no buttons is you don't have to deal with the rattles and theres less that can break. Tesla could have just created a quality control department but i guess this is a cheaper alternative.

** Get PPF on your car's and interior for the Tesla's so the Black Piano Won't Scratch or Show much Dust for your trim and for the outside in case of Rock's & Bugs.

Hopefully, they listen to what you have to say. Plus, basic model shouldn't go out door with one coat. Back looks uncomfortable! Does it have bluetooth voice command? Is car noisy inside with upgraded tires?

With all glass on top, it has UV layer, however, with a sensitive skin, Sun rays will be really bad? Plus with a little rain and dust, the top glass will look really bad very fast?

The display is further away from the driver because of auto pilot. There's less need for the gauge being in front of the driver when the driver doesn't have to drive. Great review tho! Thanks guys!
