This song brings tears to my eyes. Jesus brought me out of such darkness. I will never forget that day when i was 24 on 12-26-83 when i ask Jesus into my life as both my Lord and Savior. Im 59 yrs old and still walking down that narrow road.

De lo mejor que he escuchado en mi vida.! Esto si es música, Dios bendiga al hermano Gleen Káiser y a todos los músicos que lo acompañan, han sido de gran bendición para mi desde que los escucho, lástima que acá en México no hay bandas así.

If you love blues rock - with Jesus at the center - the Glenn Kaiser Band is it! Rez was my favorite band - until I heard Glenn's solo work (he has both rock and acoustic). Although, this song comes off of the "Reach of Love" album, which is my favorite album of all time. Jesus Christ is the light of the world.

Rez has so many melodious songs that speak to the soul. And Glenn is underrated as a guitarist...thanks for posting...

I grew up in the early 80s on Amy Grant & Michael W Smith and as I got older on Petra, Whiteheart, and REZ Band. Now that I'm in my 30s REZ and Whiteheart are the two main bands from that era I still listen to. I'm gonna start introducing them to my son's skater friends to "raise them from the dead" as Glenn would say. :-) REACH of LOVE is my 2nd favorite REZ song all-time; thx for posting this brother!

I'm another for Rez, they were instrumental in me hearing the message of salvation back in the early '80's and have been dear to my heart all these years.

Glenn has one of the most passionate voices I've ever heard, their songs just get me. I love good 80's rock, and when it is Christian and worshipful to our Father, man, it makes it so much better. Man, Cornerstone has been around since before '94? Never woulda thought that haha.

I've been following them since '81 when I was 13, and have everything they've ever put out. Defintely check out "Rainbow's End" (79)- my favorite. "DMZ" and "Between Heaven 'N Hell" are also nothing short of amazing. Thier last release, "Lament" was produced by Ty Tabor of King's X, and is also a must-listen. I wore all of these releases out many times over! :-) N-joy!

Gentlemen, it all depends on your criteria. If you go by most views/coments on KZbin, then Stryper is the most influential. If you go by influence on other bands and the music industry as a whole, then it's gotta be REZ band and Glenn Kaiser (who wrote 'The Responsibility of the Christian Artist'). If you go by most albums sold and strongest career then the most influential is Petra. Let's all thank God for brothers in the Lord who use their talents to glorify God! Take care guys.

I'm not knocking Stryper or Rez Band (both great bands), But if I had to pick the single most influential band in Christian music, it would have to be Petra.

I love this song and REZ band, I just disagree with one lyric. John 15:16 Says "You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit-fruit that will last-and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you." So Jesus would never say "I didn't chose you". He has chosen those of us who have repented and accepted him as our savior and Lord. We didn't chose Him, because how can a dead man make any choices? Ephesians 2 "And you were dead in the trespasses and sins 2 in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience- 3 among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body[a] and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind."

Ruedi ERNST You are proof there is a God. Look in the mirror, you were created in his image. Please dont walk away from his only begotten Son. I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior at the age of 24 on 12-26-83 and now at the age of 59 im still walking with Jesus. The proof and evidence is overwelming. Watch the movie A Case For Christ by Lee Strobel.
