🎵 JS Bach - Prelude and fugue in E-flat BWV 552 | Caen, St-Étienne

JS Bach's 'Prelude and Fugue in E flat' BWV 552 (sometimes called 'St Anne') played by Richard McVeigh on the Hauptwerk organ or Caen, France.
I played this live in an organ recital on 27th June 2020 and I think this piece sounds absolutely SENSATIONAL on this incredible Cavaillé-Coll!

Nice! Definitely a “top 10” Bach piece very nicely done. I like the muscular pedal - engage tractor beam 😁. I like how a Cavaille-Coll sound can pull off Bach with clarity and authority just as well as rich sounding 19th/20th century romantic pieces - 👍👍👍
