A couple weekends ago I tried big fiddler crabs under a bridge in the Chesapeake Bay. I'm from Florida and never caught a tog, but I have caught sheepshead in Florida. I felt a little tap once. Other than that my bait just got taken, immediately. Apparently I have to learn how to catch togs. So I appreciate the video.

I tether everything with Booms lanyards. The other thing I do is always put my rod in a yak attack holder while handling a fish. I lost a rod unhooking a fish because i put the rod on my lap and the fish went over and took the rod over with it cause the line was wrapped. Lessons learned. Great video btw.

I want that rod after using my nexus for black fish i kinda like the stiffer action for black fish much more then the softer action like on the slim wave I saw your rod at public lands and I noticed it is a bit more stiffer then a slim wave it feels like a nice rod for black fish

Easy to grab with the handle sticking up but maybe it's better to put the Uncle Moe's dehooker in the well handle down. You almost had it in the well but it toggled with the weight of the handle and... bub-bye!

I’ve often tried to describe to novice anglers how to strike when doing this type of fishing. I have to take them to a dock and show them how the little fish pick at a bait, or how fish will watch a bait and you have to move it or pick it up and drop it while always maintaining no slack and contact. You do a good job explaining it to viewers. I think fishing with live baits especially shell fish bait is a bit of a challenge and an acquired skill. I’m driving distance to where you’re fishing, and have been enjoying watching your vids. I’m looking forward to renting a beach house in the off season and hitting the local waters.

I thought at first the turtle was a seal, that was some trip. Loosing the de-hooker is better than loosing a camera, same trip. Is your fish-finder on a separate battery? I also thought you had your Fish-finder off to improve your odds in the beginning. You always do well with Black fish, strange about the Albies.
