I think that given time Cam can only get better, he needs to get back his rhythm and that comes with a regular starting role.

Just Like I said last summer • separate • AR15 & D'low Pair up each above separately with • Reddish & Vanderbilt (one each) • Christi & Vincent (1 each at #2) • Overlap Hayes & AD • use DK off bench liberally with both squads for spacing & upping 3pters to 38/game average And adjust accordingly 🫡

Definitely game to game adjustments, but a head coach tries to keep the same starting lineup/rotation for as long as possible to create continuity.

If I’m being honest, if we keep winning with Dlo as our 6th man and settles in that role, I’d love to keep him. I’d then move Rui, Max Christie, and JHS for Cameron Johnson. If we are gonna keep Cam Reddish in the starting lineup that is.

Because of the type of player Cam was before he got to the league, I think teams have over complicated his development and role. He just needs to do one thing well and build from there.
@BlueGrovyle3 күн бұрын
Eh, he's struggled to stay on the floor for a whole season. Difficult to gauge how that has impacted his development.
@Blazin50s2 күн бұрын
@ Comment makes no sense. If someone with potential is struggling to stay healthy…it’s pretty obvious how that’ll affect their potential. They aren’t on the court enough to reach it. I’m not into college hoops like that but I knew enough to hear the Cam Reddish Hype - safe to assume it wasn’t about defense. There’s even an Ant Edwards clip about how he was one of the toughest outs. Speculating of course but along with injury I think Cam has also wasted time trying to figure out his role.

@glyle25042 күн бұрын
This is giving bad 2024 flashbacks. I know Dlo has been awful (which by the way what the actual hell???) But the Cam Reddish sub is something we previously saw. And he works now but when Vando comes back (and he should definitely be starting when he does) you can’t have Cam and Vando in their current iterations on the floor at the same time. This team started great but then absolutely fell apart, and I trust JJ to do what he can but I don’t know what can be done if guys are just bumming it up.

For the first 30s, I heard like 4-5 words which were mumbled and I had to backtrack just to understand lol. sorry for the long rant, it's just that I hope your content does well! edit: hoooly shit the auto-generated subs were accurate for once. rofl

The lineup will be caruso, AR, Cam Johnson, bron, ad. Second unit will be dennis scroder (a playmaker and scorer), dalton knect (extra shooter and scorer for bench), jarred vanderbuilt (will play around 20 minutes so he doesnt get injured), rui (the 6th man offense and rebounding guy), and kevon looney (15 min/game center)
