I have the TWP 2020 wear OS 2.4 and my assistant works fine. I still have lower button customisation, which is of course.....the flashlight! 😂 Will your app work on my 2100 processor? Can the TWP 2020 be side loaded?. Thanks.

Unfortunatelly , Alexa for smart watches is not available on the google play in europe.I managed to sideload it, works but first few seconds of answers are skipped, so I hear last few words if any. Does anyone have a fully working apk version? And whats the right version of the google go? the one I tried is not able to use microphone...useless

Hi i know this isn't the topic but im having problems to connect tic watch pro 5 on my china rom phone. The mobvoi health app is requiring an updated google play services. But the Chinese rom of course cannot have this. Is there a way i can bypass or not use the mobvoi app for ticwatch? Thanks

Splendid video! Thanks man. Activated wi-fi debugging, connected to Tic Watch Ultra 3 GPS using ADB on Win 11 laptop, downloaded the G Assistant Go (v armeabi) from apk mirror and the side button apk from github. Sideloaded both APKs. Granted G Assistant all the permissions. Tweaked the screen dpi setting using ADB, but settled with the default one in the end as it seemed to be the best. 😄 EVERYTHING works like a charm! Is there a way I can turn developer options back off in my watch though (without resetting it)?

I use your remapper app and works great. Problem is I’d like to have “google assistant go” mapped to crown long press and “alexa” mapped to top button long press to use one or the other depending on the use case. You said it: Sometimes alexa is more convenient. For that, I need your app to be able to map something different than flashlight to top button. If you don’t update your app at least provide a guide on how to modify this in the code and compile it again in apk for the watch :-) Thanks for the video! Oh by the way…another thing I am trying to improve in this watch is the weak vibration pattern.. I tend to miss notifications. So I am trying the “wear notifications helper” but still not perfect…I’d like also the screen to show the notification when coming, at least for the ones I want. If you want to work on something similar here is an idea!

heey, u cant bind a long press to the top button , u can do single tap which will override recent menu i recommend single top tap = GAG long press crown to Alexa (default) let me know and i can upload a separate configuration just for you

I side loaded Assistant Go on my Ticwatch 5 Pro when enabling permissions everything is allowed, then Advanced I enable modify system settings but Display over other apps is darkened. Is there another setting I am missing?

I’ll still finding it very hard to enthuse about this TW5 - leaving aside all the gripes that we TW3 users have about being left behind without Wear OS 3 - lacking proper GA and wireless charging. Obviously those who have invested in it like it but I will be staying well clear of TW. I have in fact recently rediscovered my Garmin Vivoactive 4 and am amazed how much better that is than the TW3 if you only want a fitness tracker but with notifications, music actually on your watch and great battery life which doesn’t depend on a heavily minimalist boring “essential mode” screen but rather a much more practical always on display - yes not as bright or attractive as the TW3/5 but very effective nonetheless. All of that said, thanks very much for taking the time to show those who want to know how to get a form of GA on their new TW5. Also a big thank you for your more than honourable mention of Alexa. It looks like some people might be happy enough just using Alexa until GA is fully available on the TW5?

I know its late but Did you manage to connect it? I managed to connect it with my Chinese ROM Honor Magic V2. I downloaded wear OS app for chinese roms. So there are two wear OS app on my phone, just use the Chinese one to connect thereafter both apps work as one and watch works fine.
