I had my account for 8 fucking years and my shit gets banned for no reason, they dont even wanna tell me what I did. Sony is so shitty when it come to this. This past summer (2014) I got hacked 3 times on the same week. The first time Sony returned my account without making too many questions. I changed password and even the email. By the next day I was hacked a second time, and again Sony gave me my account back without making too many questions. I asked them if there was anything strange because I mean, this is the second time my password is changed without my content but they said that everything seemed fine. And again I changed my password but this time I used a really long and absolute batshit-crazy one. I got hacked a third time only a couple of hours after my account was returned to me for the second time. Thus I called Sony, again, and they tell they can't do anything else for me unless I gave them the serial number of the PS3 where I created my account back in 2006. But that console went YLOD years ago and now here I am. Hundreds of dollars in games all lost and Sony can't do shit, but I think is just them that don't want to do shit. Because I gave them every single piece of info they asked for (except the serial number of the PS3 I bought at launch) from the date the account was created, receipt numbers from multiple digital purchases, date of birth (the hacker somehow changed it even though Sony told me it was impossible), etc. Ironically, I, the owner of the account has less control over it than the fucking hacker. But what hurts me the most is not even all the money I lost in games but the many friends I made playing online through the years. I could add a couple of them on my new account but most of them had complex tags with numbers and stuff that I just can't remember. I have not touched my PS3 since then because it feels so empty and boring now.

I feel your pain dude. I got my account jacked on Xbox live like 5 years ago and lost all of my gamer score and my awesome gamer tag that I had since the Xbox live Beta back in the beginning. But your situation is even worse than that. I let is slide but it ruined how I felt about gamer scores and I have not cared about them since. In your case though those games belong to you, so screw that. File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Them telling you they can't do anything about it is not a good enough answer. I saw a method where you have to contact the UK or AUS support (not sure if it works in the US) and tell them your account is banned, lie on the DOB and give them any year you were born that makes you under 18 and they'll give you a new ban that'll overwrite the previous one since now you'll be banned for registering while underage. You'll need a second person to become the "parent" of the account and ID as proof and it might be unbanned. Let me know if this helps.

This is one of the reasons I think Physical Copies, will always be better than Digital. You just lost so many games, but you would still have them if they were physical. If you are truly innocent why not take it to court? Maybe hit up reddit see if you can link up with other PS4 users who have been banned in a similar fashion. Pool some resources together and maybe start a class action lawsuit. You lost a lot of money and time. No reason not to take it to court if you can afford it.

That sucks but don't just buy physical...you have to make sure that physical copy is actually a fully working game. A physical disc, that requires a patch to be downloaded to work right, or get full features, which is becoming common place, is the same as DRM.

So here's a little rant. I recently got banned from Playstation over a message that i responded to from another player. We were playing a rated M game and a player messages me "nice hacks" as most do when you whoop their butts. Now with this being said, i responded with the normal "suck my D***". Now they banned me then after calling customer service numerous times to ask why, a few days go by and i finally get an email. All the email said was that i violated the ToS and the reason was "Child Protection". That was the entire E-mail. I then called again asking for the investigation reports as well as who did the investigation and so forth. They had nothing to tell me. They just kept saying you violated the ToS and theres nothing we can do about it. Being part of network security for another fortune 500 company, I had asked them ok transfer me to you superiors. They said that theyre the highest tier that could help them which we all know is BS, the customer support team is at the bottom of the food chain. I then asked to have a number for the investigations office or the network security office. They said they have no phone numbers. I asked then what is an E-mail for them because I am entitled to see the evidence. They said they had no E-mails either. They then however gave me a P.O Box mailing address to send them a letter and i was just dumbfounded. How does a fortune 500 company thats basis is electronics only communicate through the mail. I know this is B.S. but i am at a loss of what to do here. Summary: Over a thousand dollars worth of software has been stolen to me based on the word of a child who not only was breaking the ToS by not being the correct age to play the game but had also started the conversation with me in the first place. Sony, being a billion dollar electronics company, does not help their customers and are unable to communicate than by horseback. And no records to make an appeal or back myself up with. Had no idea it was a kid, the person was playing an adult rated game. Regardless thought id share this with the video.

Yes sir I'm still banned. They told me once an account was banned by the system then all info is deleted therefor can't be retrieved as well as "child protection" being the cause, they're not responsible for giving any warnings nor suspensions. Usually it is a 3 strike program for banning but child protection and hacking is considered an automatic banning.
