You got me started taking Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides! I also have a Costco membership and just wanted to let you know it's on sale now at Costco for $23.99 instead of $31 or $34. I stocked up the last time it was on sale. Now the container looks different. It has 90% less plastic! I have arthritis in my knees and I'm only 44! I can walk fine but going down stairs hurts a little and I've sat cross legged my whole life but now I can't. I am really hoping that after taking collagen peptides I can sit cross legged again. Just yesterday I had to go down stairs and it wasn't painful!! at all!! I've been taking it for a few months now. I still can't sit cross legged. I'm hoping in the future that I can. I am hoping in a couple years my skin will look younger like what you experienced unexpectedly.

That's awesome! Hopefully you will be able to reach your goal to sit cross legged again without pain. I hope you find more answers as you keep researching that topic. Let me know how it goes. Thanks again for sharing your experience and thanks for watching!

I take Vital Proteins every day in my coffee…Sounds like I need to add some whey to help me build/keep muscles! I also take and like very much Move Free ULTRA with hyaurlonic acid, boron (to build bone) and collagen. And I take glucosamine sulfate. I hope I’m not destroying collagen by putting in my coffee! I’m seven years out from when my orthopedic surgeon said I had 3 years until I need a replacement! It is rare for my arthritic knee to hurt now….

Stronger faster growing nails and better hair and skin. I have ordered the Vital Proteins with your link and hope this will give me the results I was getting before Sparkle changed their formula.

Thanks for sharing and for using the link! I tried Sparkle as well but unfortunately ran into some issues. Mainly constipation. I was bummed because research for verisol collagen is very positive. The new containers of Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides say that you should take 4 Tablespoons for 20 mg of protein. You know that's not what the original container said. It is originally 10 mg of protein. I know that because of watching your videos. I take 2 Tablespoons every day with my oatmeal or tea. Thank you for your videos!

Also taking Vital Proteins, on/off for two years, but ON since January of this year. I took MSM since it has sulfur, for joint paint/hair issues years ago and that gave me stomach issues and anxiety at higher levels. I now understand MSM is better with food and vitamin C, but I still hesitate to take it! Before Vital Proteins, I was taking Meiji Premium Collagen which is marine collagen with vitamin C and Hyurolic Acid. It plumped my skin something nice, I remember licking my lips and my lips just felt... plump, but it didn't do anything with my joints so I had to give it up.
@JTJaredTaylorАй бұрын
Thanks for watching and thanks for sharing your own experience. What do you think of Vital Proteins now that you've been taking it for a while? Do you feel any better than when you took Meiji?
@decembercloudsАй бұрын
@@JTJaredTaylor I feel a lot better on Vital Proteins than I did Meiji, but that's mostly because Meiji didn't do anything for joints or odd pains here and there. I'm tempted to add in a little Meiji here and there for a short time, but I have to import it (as opposed to VP which is sold in my country). On the positive side, it's much easier to take than VP because it completely dissolves in cold water and has no taste. I find VP clumps in cooler water and still has a little taste no matter what.
@MohdRashidi-l6j12 күн бұрын
Marine collagen is not for joints. It’s only for skin. However Bovine collagen is for skin, nails, hair and joints. To be safe, take bovine collagen instead. You will feel the difference.

I put vital proteins collagen in my coffee every morning. Not because I believe it’s the best brand, because it only has bovine collagen, but because it has a pleasant taste. I also believe you’re not supposed to put it in hot water, but it always makes my coffee taste better. 🤷♀️

I have taken Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides (Unflavored) for years - but I've decided to switch brands. I definitely had positive results at first. It then kind of plateau'd but I didn't think much of it. However, my friend gifted me some organic marine collagen from Portugal recently and it was insane how quickly my fingernails and hair started growing again. I think Vital Proteins has changed their formula over the years and it's not as high quality - I'm now exploring different brands.

I wish I can take collagen. I took the VP advanced version with vitamin c and HA. I had to stop because it caused so much anxiety unfortunately. No matter what drink I mixed it with, I could still taste it!

you mentioned strawberry allergies, when I eat strawberries my mouth and throat feels like its closing up. and my skin breaks out in blotches and sweat, HOWEVER this doesn't happen with organic strawberries. so my guess is its not the strawberries causing the reaction but rather the anti fungal and pesticides they are sprayed with on the conventional kind

Wow, you do look much more youthful! Specifically, your neckline, and your Nasolabial folds or smile lines look way better! And you just have an overall healthier younger looking appearance. I just picked up some of the vital protein peptides at Costco. I've been studying it for a very long time, and my question is, does it really cause hypercalcemia or a buildup of calcium in the arteries? I already have calcium in my coronary arteries from a poor processed food diet when I was homeless for 4 years. I'm trying to undo that damage, but I don't want to add to it. All of the internet data seems to be anecdotal or conflicting. Does anyone have a definitive answer on this? By the way, I put my girlfriend on it about 2 years ago and she looks absolutely remarkable it is really rolled back the clock for her Thanks, and Happy New Year to all! 🎉

Great video! Do Not Age recommends 1 capsule of Hyaluronic Acid on empty stomach a day. How many capsules do you take? Do you follow their recommendation or have your own optimal dose? I just started supplementing with it and I’m curious if 1 capsule a day is enough for optimal result.
@JTJaredTaylor26 күн бұрын
Thanks for watching and for your comment! Yes, I take 1 pill a day which is 200mg. I believe it's enough because in most of the studies I've seen (in humans) regarding Hyaluronic Acid they gave the subjects 200mg per day. For that reason, I feel like it's an optimal dose.
@radzamandic909Ай бұрын
I am 50 years old and I take collagen, glycine and hyaluronic acid. I haven't read anywhere about the unwanted phenomena when taking hyaluronic acid in larger doses, does 200 mg seem a little to me? if I look at collagen, it is still available in tablets in milligrams, and I already know that it is useless and that you should take at least 10 grams daily. If there is any research on taking “megadoses” of hyaluronic acid, please share it with us
@JTJaredTaylor27 күн бұрын
I haven't seen (or looked for ) research on taking mega doses of Hyaluronic Acid. Multiple studies I've seen have ranged from amounts of (if I remember correctly) 85mg to 485mg with the majority clearly being 200mg. That said, I have a friend with arthritis and he's been taking a much higher dose. He swears that it's been a game changer for him. Of course that's just anecdotal and not a controlled scientific study.

I lean more toward the opinion that it can be a very healthy option. I don't avoid it but don't eat it every day either. I try to get a variety of greens.
