Thats wonderful, love Highland cows friendly and tasty!!!! I live near Chester in a village in a normal house one morning a cow got loose and went up my road. A police man asked if he could put the cow in my garden, because a busy road near by, i said yes. Did not tell my mum, she got a shock looking out the kitchen window.

Funnily enough we brits invented the word soccer. Oxford university slang taken from association football, then Americans liked it and called their association football “soccer”. Their ‘American football’ is taken from the word “rugby football” hence why they call it “football”, but we just never told the Americans that we changed soccer back to just saying football again. So technically, both us and the Americans are right 😉

Many years ago when I was a young kid, my dad uprooted the whole family from England to live in Colorado for several years. My mother's first real experience of living there, so she tells me, was when she decided to walk to a grocery store - as she would always do in England. The difference was that being a mile above sea level in the Denver suburb of Englewood meant that the air was so thin that she couldn't make it back home because she was so out of breath and had to sit down. Then, a passing motorist stopped and asked if she needed help. He gave her a ride up the hill back home (yes, this was a long time ago!). So her first impression of Colorado, and America by extension, was that the people were some of nicest and kindest she'd ever met. That view was only confirmed again and again over four years. I still miss it :) I wonder if it's still the same!

Back in my youth I used to visit my family in Cornwall a lot and went out fishing with my Dad, Uncle and Cousins. There was a Cornish Bait manufacture called "Red Gill" owned and run by a friend of one of my older Cousins, his name is Alex Ingram. Most of his lures were made of Silicone Rubber a very new thing back in the mid 70s and based in the Common Sand Eel. They were great I caught so many Mackerel, Pollock, and even Sea Bass with them. They were made in the small fishing village of (you may have difficulty pronouncing this) Mevagissey.

Congratulations on adopting a highlander Anna. I love watching all your videos and there's a farm near me in oxenhope, in god's own county of Yorkshire, which has highland cows. Plus, I thought this video was going to r rated when JT was talking about the beautiful pudding and custard 😂 keep up the good work guys .... Ps ... Congratulations on your new home 😊
