I always found it kinda pointless to try and make a horror game about a curse that kills ya no matter what. Like, we already know we're doomed by the curse, so why even bother playing? We died in the middle of the game and got a game over? Alright then, guess we won the game then? The ending would have us die anyway, so unless the game's plot is used to explore the characters and their relationships, as a way to develop them for the better (or worse, you never know) before they fall victim to the curse... there's really not much point to it at all. Also, apparently finding all items unlocks the original house from the movie or so.

Hey good to see your take on this game! Good point to say that the family must have been here a while to not notice anything out of the ordinary. Glad to see both of our views match of this game pretty much disappointing.

i wanted to love this game so much becaause ju-on was top 3 in my favorite horror movies but the game just really left a bad taste in my mouth. im glad im not alone in the disappointment

I thought it was part of the game at the beginning. Wii games terrify me most of the time, gameplay is always iffy. Just looking at this review made me nocuous right at the time of the scene with the dog. Judging the game by its cover would be something I'd buy. Before we had KZbin that is. Great review as always.

Ya unfortunately there isn’t really anything to justify anyone paying more than 5 bucks for it. Cover art is definitely a bait and switch. Thank man for the support!

This game might be considered rare or collectable, but it certainly isn't a good horror game. It looks like something a lazy or incompetent indie dev would toss onto Steam and charge $10 for. The license deserves better. So does The Ring. Remember that Dreamcast The Ring game? Lol.

@RETRO OR DIE, It can happen, especially with licensed games that never get rereleased for various reasons. The Ring has some music I like, but as an RE clone? Nah, it's not good. Better off playing Code Veronica or Carrier. Finally picked up a copy of Covert Ops Nuclear Dawn for PS1. Might be worth checking out that game too. RE meets an 90s action film.
