As a middle school music teacher, they did Vidal dirty here. They, as in the other singers. Yes, posture is something you learn from the moment you start singing in a kids' choir... However, professional singers have a LOT more freedom than 7th graders when it comes to posture 😂 Not at all saying they're wrong about him taking his hands out of his pockets, but this alone shouldn't have been taken as seriously as they did.

I totally agree with that. I sing in the choir and am also a musical actress, and the two have very, VERY different standards/expectations for posture. And even in choir we sometimes dance. Posture is really for practising, that's what I'd say, to make sure you got all your breaths and places to the correct spot. After you get everything well polished, you're basically free to do anything lmao.

Some people are musical theatre performers (we usually have people to set our mics, and some people are nervous by default). Not all of us are “choir”, and we don’t all perform in concert settings.
