Funny thing, Tovia Singer admits that he is from Indonesia then moved to Israel. I know very much about Indonesians, that is why he seem lost as a Jewish. In Indonesia, people who are not able to read in Hebrew and Greek, used to think that ALLAH as Arabian Idol is the same compare to YHWH the Living GOD. But they are pagan actually, not Jewish. It is because they don't know much about the Real GOD. And that Jewish Tovia Singer still follow the teaching he got from Indonesia although he learns Tanakh in Hebrew as Rabbi in Israel. And he gives the lectures about ALLAH ( اللَّهُ) as the Arabian Idol which merely a substance is the same compare to YHWH (יהוה) the Living GOD toward many Jewish in Israel, which is considered as a BLASPHEMY according to Tanakh, in my opinion. Deutoronomy Chapter 13 verse 1 to 3 could be about the false prophet such as Muhammad SAW and the false Messiah such as Isa Al-Masih who introduce ALLAH as Arabian Idol which is the FAKE GOD.

Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. You can't agree because modern Judaism is exclusively and ideologically descended from the Pharisee sect. Jesus belonged to another sect because he frequently denounced the Pharisees even calling them the sons of vipers aka poisonous snakes. Jesus was more akin to a Karaite than a modern Jew in that he didn't accept what he called "the traditions of the elders" the proto Mishna. The Essene sect aka the Qumran sect were more akin to the teaching Jesus than the Pharisee sect which the Qumran sect called the seekers after smooth things.

"When Jesus was tempted in the wilderness by the devil, could He have sinned?" Of course He could have sinned! God has given every man free will to choose to be obedient to God's word or not. Jesus was obedient to God's word in His encounter with Satan. Self-esteem is just that: self. If it comes from self, it does not profit anything before God. It is only God's Spirit that can give eternal life. Carrying oneself in arrogance is not a trait of one who is truly in Christ. "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."

one thing I will say, In a church I was in 50 years ago I went on visitation, visiting the church members. I asked them some questions. no 2 believed all the same things! and all different to what was preached! I also did not believe some thing that were preached, it is a journey we are on. Once I worked for a company owned by a Jewish person, the first I had met ever. He was a really great person. I was excited to find there was a Rabbi I worked with, thought he would know things I did not because his family history would be different and if I made friend with him it would be a good opportunity to learn! I invited him to a meal at my place but he said he was not allowed to set foot in my house or have anything to do with me. So sad... I asked him why? he said it was because I was not Jewish, and Gentiles had committed the holocaust! I know of Christians who died in the concentration camps for hiding Jews in the holocaust, there were many documented cases. Watch the movie "the hiding place", about Corrie ten Boom who was a survivor and narates. (her sister died for that and is the really inspiring one).

The most important thing in all three religions is to love God with all your heart and love your neighbors as you love yourself, and then everything else will fall in place. There are a lot of concepts that require you to just believe even if you don't understand everything. The most important is LOVE ( Ten commandments in summary).

Yes, there were some Jesus-worshipers who defied the N*zis. I thank Hashem for them. However, the German population in the 1930s was almost all Jesus-worshiping. Without the support and participation of Jesus-worshipers, the Holocaust never could have occurred. My aunt was a Jesus-worshiper who was imprisoned in Ravensbruck, condemned to death for crimes against the R*ich. She was part of the French Resistance. Maximillian Kolbe, a Catholic priest, traded places with a Jewish father who was supposed to be sent into a "starvation barracks." The Pope took in Jewish Italians--provided that they had a baptismal certificate or consented to baptism. Yes, I have read ten Boom's book and admire her and her anemic sister, both of whom could have "sat out" the war in comparative comfort. At the same time, all of these people belonged to an organization with the core teaching that everyone who does not worship Jesus is condemned to eternal Perdition. If the man was an observant Jew, he could not eat at your home because your home was not Kosher. That is nothing against you. Observant Jews would not eat at my home, either, because I do not yet keep a Kosher home. HTH.

Son of man--(See on Eze 2:1). Not merely Son of David, and King of Israel, but Head of restored humanity (corresponding to the world-wide horizon of Daniel's prophecy); the seed of the woman, crushing Antichrist, the seed of the serpent, according to the Prot-evangel in Paradise (Ge 3:15). The Representative Man shall then realize the original destiny of man as Head of the creation (Ge 1:26, 28); the center of unity to Israel and the Gentiles. The beast, which taken conjointly represents the four beasts, ascends from the sea (Da 7:2; Re13:1); the Son of man descends from "heaven." Satan, as the serpent, is the representative head of all that bestial; man, by following the serpent, has become bestial. God must, therefore, become man, so that man may cease to be beast-like. Whoever rejects the incarnate God will be judged by the Son of man just because He is the Son of man (Joh5:27). This title is always associated with His coming again, because the kingdom that then awaits Him in that which belongs to Him as the Saviour of man, the Restorer of the lost inheritance. "Son of man" expresses His VISIBLE state formerly in his humiliation hereafter in His exaltation. He "comes to the Ancient of days" to be invested with the kingdom. Compare Ps 110:2: "The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength (Messiah) out of Zion." This investiture was at His ascension "with the clouds of heaven" (Ac 1:9; 2:33, 34; Ps 2:6-9; Mt 28:18), which is a pledge of His return "in like manner" in the clouds" (Ac1:11; Mt 26:64), and "with clouds" (Re 1:7). The kingdom then was given to Him in title and invisible exercise; at His second coming it shall be in visible administration. He will vindicate it from the misrule of those who received it to hold for and under God, but who ignored His supremacy. The Father will assert His right by the Son, the heir, who will hold it for Him (Eze 1:26-27; Heb 1:2; Re 19:13-16). Tregelles thinks the investiture here immediately precedes Christ's coming forth; because He sits at God's right hand until His enemies are made His footstool, then the kingdom is given to the Son in actual investiture, and He comes to crush His so prepared footstool under His feet. But the words, "with the clouds," and the universal power actually, though invisibly, given Him then (Eph 1:20-22), agree best with His investiture at the ascension, which, in the prophetic view that overleaps the interval of ages, is the precursor of His coming visibly to reign; no event of equal moment taking place in the interval..

The rabbi is assuming that Christians believe that Jesus had only one will, namely God's will. The Christians who thought that were called monothelites and were expelled from the mainstream of Christianity in the 7th century by the sixth ecumenical council. The orthodox Christian view is that he had two complete natures and therefore two wills, one human and one divine. The human one had the ability to will what was contrary to the divine will, but just as God ensured that pharoah's heart was hardened, God ensured that Jesus's human will never hardened. So, the human will could have chosen sin but the divine will prevented it from doing so. Sounds nutty right! But that's what you can say if you believe Jesus was fully human and fully divine and not just God inside a human body controlling it.

What shall we say in regard to the question: "Why do the divinities that are invoked require the worshipper to be just, although they themselves when entreated consent to perform unjust acts?" In reply to this I am uncertain in respect to what is meant by "performing unjust acts," as the same definition may not appear right both to us and to the gods. We, on the one hand, looking to that which is least significant, consider the things that are present, the momentary life, what it is and how it originates. The beings superior to us, let me say, know for certain the whole life of the soul and all its former lives; and if they bring on a retribution from the supplication of those who invoke them, they do not increase it beyond what is just. On the contrary, they aim at the sins impressed upon the soul in former lifetimes, which men do not perceive, and so imagine that is unjust that they fall into the misfortunes which they suffer. Iamblichus -- The Egyptian Mysteries Isaiah 5:20-21 Cosmic Love [e.g., the Spiritual Self] is absolutely Ruthless and Highly Indifferent: it teaches its lessons whether you like/dislike them or not. No-one could deny it. 2. If YHWH were to change His mind regarding His laws, commands and all that is Torah, (which He Himself said He does not), then it would be in the same way as at Mt Sinai. 3. As far as is known the Romans destroyed the Second Temple. Thus leaving Jews with no way of offering blood sacrifice to God which is the ultimate requirement in the scriptures. Repentance is indeed a first step towards forgiveness from God but ultimately not the end process. That is only completed by blood offering. Thus God in His wisdom sent one sacrifice for all. No need for a temple or any burnt offering after this sacrifice. Jesus (Messiah) is that perfect offering. A sacrifice by God's own hand. Not by any works of man or woman. No man can boast that his works or his prayers made him perfect before God. Death is a confirmation of our sinful state and as such the need for Jesus The Perfect Lamb of God.

The connotation is clear as day. The foreshadowing of which was announced in Genesis 3: 15-21. Animal sacrifice was made by God on behalf of Adam and Eve when he made clothes of skin to cover their nakedness. But God had also promise to crush the serpent head while the heel of the woman's seed would only be bruised. God covers a multitude of sin and utterly removes the stain of death by offering up His Son. And even as Issac was willing to be sacrificed in obedience to the will of God so too was The Son of Man willing to be the ultimate sacrifice for humanity. An eye for an eye. A life for a life. Animal sacrifice only served as a temporary cover and is not sufficient. But Emanuel covers us forever and is more than enough. Because He is God equal to the Father, one with the Father unto obedience of the Father. Deny it all you want note that the second temple was destroy after Jesus was crucified, rose from the dead and ascended to the Father. No doubt he will continue doing what is right with all his strength no matter what happens to him. It seems inevitable that Messiah will end up suffering for the cause of love and truth and thus prove that he is completely devoted to God. No one will ask what right he has to such honor from all the people. For he will have proven his faithfulness beyond all question. Either Messiah will have power from God, or he will not. If he does not, then there is no reason to obey and honor him. If Messiah does have power from God, what would he do with it? Just like Jews have no problem with the splitting of the Red Sea. Christians have no problem with God being a trinity and one aspect manifested on earth as both god and human simultaneously. The followers of religion must stop trying to disprove one another. If the mythology doesn’t result in human atrocities toward each other, what’s the problem? We are in a civilizational war. You're right, Jesus was not the Jewish concept of Messiah. And was probably not the Greek concept of Christ (we can't be too sure because the old Greek meaning seems to be lost). Yes, the NT concept of the devil and the god of this world being the same is rather a "Gnostic" concept. And there may have been other, non Jewish concepts creeped in. But much of Xianity is a distorted version of Judaism in its attempt to force round pegs into square holes. The inclusion of Jewish leadership in Jesus crucifixion, for example, is to force the idea that Jesus is like a sacrificial lamb (the very annual Passover lamb) that can only be a valid sacrifice if done by the hands of the then high priests. The same goes for so many misapplied "prophecies". This version of Xianity was due to what Paul called "Judaizers" who spun everything Jesus said and did through Jewish colored glasses. That describes the main sect early on, but there was a minority sect, represented by Thomas, whose sayings gospel ended up being a better fit with Gnosticism, which is why it was found buried with a largely Gnostic library in 1945 or so. Mind you, it was buried because the main, Judaized, sect, pretty much waged war on the Gnostics and sects like Thomas' which lent doubt to the mainstream interpreters. If for example you pointed out that the NT contains at least two Gnostic oriented passages, today's Christian will ignore it first, and dispute it second with the help of smart lawyers (modern Pastors). Those Judaizers saying Jesus was the Messiah is probably what brought Jesus to the attention of Pilate, who saw the opportunity to intimidate the Jews flowing through the gates on high holiday, by the added signage: "King of the Jews", just to show them who was still boss in the region (the Romans). But Jesus voluntary capture and crucifixion was largely about demonstrating, to his followers, his ability to withstand pain, indeed, to not feel pain at all...if only they would believe what he believed, or better yet, know what he knew. In other words, if his followers followed him, they too would not need to fear pain, having the ability to tell it off on demand. That was the intent, but instead, Judaizers forced a rather Jewish sounding interpretation onto it. As one who could abjure pain, and even walk out of a tomb, Jesus was more like an Eastern Yogi on steroids. Indeed, he was the most advanced Eastern Yogi at that time, and might still be the most advanced even after 2000 more years of Yogis. As soon as you are willing to recognize and/or accept that Jesus' brand of aestheticism is akin to what's called Advaita Vedanta, it all starts to make more sense. In that school of thought, it's common to focus on the mantra "I AM" to bring one's attention back to the original state of mind, that of Brahaman, the most high, most powerful, and arguably the only truly Living Being as one's own Self. This "non dual " understanding relegates this world of form, matter, distinctions, special status and subsequent suffering as the product of a wandering mind where attention is briefly captured by the allure of fantastic imagination of what is ultimately impossible. The solution, then, is to bring one's attention back to its 'home' so to speak. The opposite of imagination, home is reality, where there is perpetual unending bliss. Pain, then, is a sign your attention is still wandering in a foreign land of imagination, not centered on the True Self. By centering his attention on the True Self, Jesus avoided the pain anyone else might experience. It's the reality of mind over the imagination of matter. Pain, like so many other things in the land of imagination, is indeed a temptation . It, and the concept of sin, can only persist in the landscape of make-believe ("this world"). In reality, as suggested, it is NOT POSSIBLE for the True Self to "sin", which really means for Reality to be replaced by, or superseded by what can only be imagined about reality. So sin is both a temptation but also not possible. Sin is only a 'reality' in a world imagined, and held together by "faith" and not Knowledge (hence the Gnostic adjacency of Jesus concepts). PS while Paul complained about Judaizers, he was still chief among them, his letter to the Romans, for example. If this be true, what I've just outlined, then Jesus is much more important to Jewish well-being than a mere Messiah. You could even call him a Savior, but only if you understand and act upon what he knew, and tried to teach to minds unfortunately filled with faith. As such , Jesus would have been Jewish by ethnicity only, and was trying to adapt what he had learned and knew to what they thought they knew. The Judaizers went way too far in the adaptation.

If anyone else, then disappointment both ways. The repentance part is really just a change of beliefs; regret of past, and whatever was done to whomever. Absolutely no reason to worship a messiah. Isaiah 53 states how Jesus would be “crushed for our iniquities” which parallels Jesus dying on the cross for our sins like the rest of that passage. This passage provides a foreshadowing of the Crucifixion. Also, the point about whether Jesus could have sinned when tempted was pretty good, because he’s right. Jesus couldn’t have sinned because he had no original sin. The sin I experience is because of original sin. However this isn’t about relating Jesus in the desert to my struggles. I believe the true purpose is to show how much greater Jesus is than Earthly temptation. I can’t relate my imperfect self to a perfect God, but I can see his superiority over sin in this passage. That’s the takeaway, just answered the impossible question.

Prayed. And responded to Satan with the word of God. He was educated enough to dual with the devil. To trust in God. It was not about sinning. It was about example. Adam failed. Jesus didn’t. Why? Because he depended on God and trusted in His providence and nothing else.

Why Mr. Singer says Jesus was handsome? 😊 Isaiah 53:2 There was nothing beautiful or majestic about his appearance, nothing to attract us to him. 3 He was despised and rejected- a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care. 4 Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows[a] that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins! 5 But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. 6 All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on him the sins of us all.

On the question from the start of the video: "Could He have sinned (Jesus) ?" When the devil tempts Jesus, we say: He could not have sinned. Why ? Because the weakness of the flash exists and manifests as a result of separation of Adam from God as result of sin. When we say "separation" we say Adam went outside God's perfect will by disobedience of the commandment that was given that lead to death. But the Scripture says that the Christ will have an everlasting kingdom meaning that death has no power over Him meaning that a man will destroy the sin and death itself according not to the power or the straight of the weakness of Adam but by the power of the Spirit that sustains all things and against whom sin has no dominion. The Christ is a man as God promised to David he will never be without a son to follow onto his throne. According to Is. 7:14 the name (Emanuel: God is with us) reflects that God Himself will fulfill the promise made in Gen. 3:15, Gen 22:18 and Deut 18:15-16 and Is. 9:6-7 the Child being a result not of the union of tow but the sign that Isiah is giving as a miracle to straighten the faith against the threat of that time invasion and also the threat of the time to come invasion on spiritual realm. The Law requires no faith but he who dose according shall live by it Lev 18:5 while Isaiah (in contrast) says "If ye will not stand in faith, you shall not stand at all".

That's so eady. The answer is yes. He could have accepted the offer. He could have asked that stones be turned into bread . He would have been able to sin if he wanted to. I akso agtee that jesus was not a jewush messuah. He was the messiah promised Adam and Eve. Who needs a jewush messaiah when the whole of humanity has the first and only one actually offered.

The Messiah is a concept that you would have no knowledge of if it wasn't for the Hebrew Scripture. Do you read the Bible? It is very explicit as to what the Messiah will do. It is also explicitly stated what the Messiah is a human and not a deity. So when the church says Jesus was perfect and could not be tempted they were wrong? My friend, you are reading the New testament which is a Greek product. The unknown authors could not read or speak Hebrew, they were writing minimum 40 years after the death of the historical Jesus and that date is being pushed back even till the second century. They did not know any of the original Gospels or anyone who followed them. This is what you're reading. Let me ask you this question if you don't mind. Do you believe that the New testament is the inerrant word of God?

The temptation of Jesus (Matthew 4:1-11) was real. Hebrews 4:15 tells us He "was tempted in every way, just as we are-yet without sin." His humanity allowed Him to experience temptation, but His divine nature meant He couldn’t sin. This wasn’t about whether He could fall, but about showing us how to stand firm. Jesus’ victory over temptation wasn’t a sham but a demonstration of His perfect, sinless obedience (John 1:29). When it comes to the Messiah, Isaiah 9:6-7 calls Him "Mighty God" and "Prince of Peace," and Psalm 110:1 describes Him seated at God’s right hand-positions of divine authority. The Messiah is more than just a human leader. Isaiah 35:5-6 also prophesies miracles-miracles that Jesus fulfilled (Matthew 11:5). Reducing the Messiah to merely a judge or teacher ignores these clear signs of His divinity and mission. The claim that Christianity fosters "low self-esteem" misunderstands its message. Yes, Christianity recognizes human brokenness (Romans 3:23), but it is ultimately about God’s love and redemption (Ephesians 2:4-5). Jesus’ sacrifice wasn’t about condemning humanity but showing our immense value to God (John 3:16). This isn’t about tearing people down-it’s about lifting them up through grace. The idea that Christianity borrows from paganism doesn’t hold up to scrutiny. The early church deliberately distanced itself from pagan beliefs (Colossians 2:8), and Christianity’s foundation is firmly rooted in Old Testament prophecy, especially Isaiah 53, which describes the Messiah as the suffering servant who takes on the sins of others-a clear fulfillment in Jesus. As for Rabbinical Judaism, there are significant contradictions between the Written Torah and later interpretations. The Torah emphasizes sacrifices for atonement (Leviticus 17:11), yet Rabbinical Judaism has shifted toward prayer and good works. Messianic prophecies like Isaiah 53, once viewed as speaking of an individual, are now reinterpreted as referring to Israel collectively. This shift raises a vital question: why change the interpretation when it could point to the fulfillment in Jesus? These contradictions challenge the authority of Rabbinical traditions and call for deeper reflection. In the name of Jesus Christ, I bless you all!

Gentiles were never commanded to offer sacrifices. That's how much the Torah "emphasizes sacrifices."
@danielmayer1977
@danielmayer1977 9 күн бұрын
@@hrvatskinoahid1048 It’s true that before the Mosaic Law, Gentiles weren’t required to offer blood sacrifices. However, when we look at the New Covenant, prophesied in Jeremiah 31:31-34, it introduces something profound. This covenant was first made with the Jewish people, as God promised to make it with "the house of Israel and the house of Judah." Jesus and His apostles initially brought this message to the Jews, and then shared it with the Gentiles as well (Romans 1:16; Acts 13:46). Under the Mosaic Law, the Jewish people were required to offer blood sacrifices for atonement. Leviticus 17:11 teaches that "the life of the flesh is in the blood... it is the blood that makes atonement for one’s soul." This wasn’t just a ritual; it was the very way God provided forgiveness. The New Covenant builds on this, but it goes further. Jesus' sacrifice wasn’t just a symbolic gesture-it fulfilled the need for blood atonement once and for all. As Hebrews 9:22 says, "Without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness." What’s beautiful here is that this fulfillment wasn’t only for the Jews under the Law but also for the Gentiles, bringing everyone together under one covenant. Hebrews 9:12-15 explains that through His own blood, Jesus secured eternal redemption for all.

@@hrvatskinoahid1048 Even the Rabbis admit that, without the Temple, Jews following Rabbinical Judaism cannot fulfill the Torah’s command for blood atonement (Leviticus 17:11). The current reliance on prayer and repentance is only a temporary measure until the Temple is restored. But 2,000 years of 'temporary' doesn’t change the fact that blood atonement is still required-the Written Torah stands. The Talmud (Yoma 39b) even records disruptions in the Temple service around 30 CE, coinciding with the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The timing suggests this wasn’t mere coincidence-the old system was being fulfilled and superseded.

That is easy to answer. Jesus is not God. He is the Son of God. Yes, he could have chosen to sin, like the perfect man Adan did. Satan knew who Jesus was. He knew Jesus had free will, otherwise why would he have tempted him in the first place. Jesus unlike Adam maintained his integrity through temptation and even during torture and death. This proves that Adam could have maintained his integrity as well. Jesus willingly died to provide a perfect sacrifice for sin. All of God’s intelligent creatures have free will, including Jesus. God had confidence in His Son, and we should be thankful for this perfect Messiah. Unfortunately the Rabbi has no other way to atone for his sin. No imperfect man can stand before God on their own merit. Don’t pass off Isa. 53 as applying to the nation of Israel. You know that can’t fit the context. Thankfully many Jewish people are putting faith in Jesus.
