Rabbi, thank you so much for being so patient with Christians, and those of us coming out of it...I took you up on your challenge, and read the Tanakh without any lenses on, without any preconceived ideas, and read it in context. IT HAS COMPLETELY CHANGED MY LIFE! I am leaving the church, and turning to The G-d of Israel alone. I study Tanakh daily; read Psalms 145 daily; and where I used to say the rosary, I now say the Shema Prayer. The inner peace I have been given is beyond words. It's a difficult transition at times, but well worth it. Thank you, Rabbi. Much love to you from Delaware!

Oh wow, to this caller - where in the Tanakh, chapter and verse, do you have any authority to question a Rabbi who has intensely studied Scripture from childhood? Who gave you the the permission to so audaciously question the word of the Creator saying that to worship or serve ANY other besides Him is IDOLATRY and WRONG!

God talked to Jacod in Issaiah 43 . Read all verses from the begining to understand the context. Why Christians cherry pick verses and twist it's meaning out of context? Issaiah 53 : 7 " everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.” Where it says , every one created by God becomes God ? 🤔. Where it says Jews to pray creations ? Exhodus 20 : 1.And God spoke all these words: 2. "I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery" . 3. “You shall have no other gods before me". 4 .“You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 5. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 6. but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments. 7. “You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name. 8. “Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. 9. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10. but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns. 11. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy. 12. “Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you. 13. “You shall not murder. 14. “You shall not commit adultery. 15. “You shall not steal. 16. “You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor. 17. “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.” 18.When the people saw the thunder and lightning and heard the trumpet and saw the mountain in smoke, they trembled with fear. They stayed at a distance 19. and said to Moses, “Speak to us yourself and we will listen. But do not have God speak to us or we will die.” 20. Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. God has come to test you, so that the fear of God will be with you to keep you from sinning.” 21. The people remained at a distance, while Moses approached the thick darkness where God was.

1 Cor. 14: 18 I thank my God I speak with tongues more than you all; 19 yet in the church I would rather speak five words with my understanding, that I may teach others also, than ten thousand words in a tongue. nkjv Paul was brilliant, regardless what this arrogant anti-Christ says. He was a student of the great Gamaliel, spoke Greek, Hebrew, Aramaic, & most likely Latin, as well. I imagine he spoke other languages than these. But more than that, he was sincere & loving, even toward the very people who abused him so terribly. After all, he would have given himself to be judged for them, if he could. That's not an uncaring huckster. It's a man who loves so deeply that he'd have gladly given his life to save those like Mr. Singer. Who is a dog like me. Smart, yes. Charming, suavisticated, & good looking, to boot. What will all that mean as he stands in his sins before the Creator of the universe(s)? Foremost, what does Judaism, of any stripe, offer that is better than salvation? The old covenants are gone, dead, nailed to the Cross of Christ, Who definitely IS the suffering Savior.

It is a well known fact that the Roman Catholic Church combined pagan ideas with the bible which is why there was the Protestant rebellion by Martin Luther because they saw that we needed to trust in gods word alone. The goal is for us to all be able to go home to heaven. We Christians believe that yeshua hemashiach is the messiah and we are to follow his example so as to show the love of god through us. So that others may make the choice to choose to believe in his death and resurrection so that we may be forgiven of our sins and so that only the devil and his rebellion the angels that followed him alone our punished. God wishs to save everyone. We are to be accountable to each other which is why they speak and hold themselves accountable to fellow believers but difference is we speak directly to the messiah in heaven and depend on hid grace by our faith to be saved and go home.

@@Servant.Of.TheMost-Merciful this is mostly true. But not quite. We see that it is the inspired word of god of men who wish to love and serve god but when looking at Old Testament there is a few places where I found out I was taught incorrectly like lucifer being Satans name when it’s talking about the king of Babylon a man in earth turning into full rebellion against god why see the Latin version of his name lucifer of the king of Babylon. Not the fallen spirit that once led the other angels in worship of god. Who made the choice to think that they were all worshipping him same as the king of Babylon so is rightly named as Satan being in rebellion to god. As one example. Then go into the prophesies of Daniel which are refering to specific events in history and I have seen them placed in multiple places. In history but which one is the truth. I don’t know. @user-lc1kh9yu8x The One True Creator G_d gave specific details to the Hebrew prophets about when the Real Messiach comes. No One! Especially the so-called "Jesus" has fulfilled any of them yet! 1. When the Real Messiach comes, he will be a normal man from the line of David through Solomon and will sit on the throne of David and rule from there forever. *Obviously, that hasn't happened yet! 2. When the Real Messiach comes, it will be at the End of Days. * Obviously, back then was not the End of Days! 3. When the Real Messiach comes, the Temple will be rebuilt never to be destroyed again, and The Messiach will start the animal sacrifices in the Temple again. * The opposite happened back then! The very fact that the Temple isn't standing proves that the so-called "Jesus" is Not The Messiach! 4. When the Real Messiach comes, Everyone around the world (including atheist) will know that he is The Messiach! * We KNOW that the so-called "Jesus" is Not The Messiach! 5. When the Real Messiach comes, death will cease to exist. * Obviously, that hasn't happened yet either because so many people are still getting sick and dying. 6. When the Real Messiach comes, there will be World Peace and weapons of war will be rebuilt into farming implements. * We're still waiting for that one!!! 7. When the Real Messiach comes, Everyone around the world, from every language will grab the Jews and say "Now we know that we have inherited only lies and G_d has been with you Jews all along. Please 🙏 take us with you!" * We're still waiting for that one, too!!! No where in the Torah/Tanach does it ever say that the Messiach will keep failing and have to come back again and again. According to Christianity, the so-called "Jesus" already came back a second time, but he still never fulfilled any of those Prophecies about the Real Messiach. So now Christians are waiting for a third coming. Christianity strikes out again!

Is this questioner real? A person studies a subject, reaches a level of understanding where he is able to teach it to others. That makes him qualified. What makes a maths teacher qualified? The same conditions. Rabbi Singer is more qualified than most for he has made it a lifelong mission to teach the truth of Judaism to the masses, especially those misguided souls who have been deluded by Christian missionaries. He is more qualified than Christian scholars because he studied the material in its original language, Hebrew. Very few Christian scholars do this today., therefore they are at a big disadvantage, not to mention their bias blinded because of their beliefs in Christianity. This does not apply to Rabbi Singer simply because he knows the material so much better than them. He does not need to resort to bias, just rely on the facts.

What the heck, is that guy going on about. Im Christian and why should they look to a teacher of the Old Testament it’s to learn from them. If you only look at one side of an argument how can you say you see it clearly.

As its said, if you want to walk with Hashem, He will help you. If you dont want to follow after Hashem, He wont stop you. May many, all Jewish souls return to Hashem out of idolatry, and may the nations turn and do teshuvah.

@@samfromisrael I am reminded of a joke that came up every Pesach with my dad's family. They described a hippy man (a beatnik in earlier years) who looked like Jesus, who put on a bathrobe & sandals, & walked into some churches, and they all knelt before him. At the Methodist church they knelt, & the Catholic church, & at the Baptists', & when he went to a shul the rabbi cupped a hand round his mouth & shouted; "Eh boys! Get the nails; he's back!". And then the grown ups would laugh. I remember my confusion & thinking, "Grown-ups are crazy.". I didn't know what they were talking about, but by the age of 4 or 5 I could see it coming. "They are about to make that crazy joke again . . . ." A yearly ritual. Around Easter time . . . .

In the Book of Revelation, Jesus said he was a star. "I am the bright morning star". In Torah, the Creator said not to worship the sun, the moon or stars.....a clear trespass of idolotry.
