IT HAS COMPLETELY CHANGED MY LIFE! I am leaving the church, and turning to The G-d of Israel alone. I study Tanakh daily; read Psalms 145 daily; and where I used to say the rosary, I now say the Shema Prayer. The inner peace I have been given is beyond words. He was a student of the great Gamaliel, spoke Greek, Hebrew, Aramaic, & most likely Latin, as well. I imagine he spoke other languages than these. But more than that, he was sincere & loving, even toward the very people who abused him so terribly. After all, he would have given himself to be judged for them, if he could. That's not an uncaring huckster. It's a man who loves so deeply that he'd have gladly given his life to save those like Mr. Singer. Who is a dog like me. Smart, yes. Charming, suavisticated, & good looking, to boot. What will all that mean as he stands in his sins before the Creator of the universe(s)? Foremost, what does Judaism, of any stripe, offer that is better than salvation? The old covenants are gone, dead, nailed to the Cross of Christ, Who definitely IS the suffering Savior.

@Howdoyoupurr2 ай бұрын
It is a well known fact that the Roman Catholic Church combined pagan ideas with the bible which is why there was the Protestant rebellion by Martin Luther because they saw that we needed to trust in gods word alone. The goal is for us to all be able to go home to heaven. We Christians believe that yeshua hemashiach is the messiah and we are to follow his example so as to show the love of god through us. So that others may make the choice to choose to believe in his death and resurrection so that we may be forgiven of our sins and so that only the devil and his rebellion the angels that followed him alone our punished. God wishs to save everyone. We are to be accountable to each other which is why they speak and hold themselves accountable to fellow believers but difference is we speak directly to the messiah in heaven and depend on hid grace by our faith to be saved and go home.

@@Servant.Of.TheMost-Merciful this is mostly true. But not quite. We see that it is the inspired word of god of men who wish to love and serve god but when looking at Old Testament there is a few places where I found out I was taught incorrectly like lucifer being Satans name when it’s talking about the king of Babylon a man in earth turning into full rebellion against god why see the Latin version of his name lucifer of the king of Babylon. Not the fallen spirit that once led the other angels in worship of god. Who made the choice to think that they were all worshipping him same as the king of Babylon so is rightly named as Satan being in rebellion to god. As one example. Then go into the prophesies of Daniel which are refering to specific events in history and I have seen them placed in multiple places. In history but which one is the truth. I don’t know. Now apply the same test for other Jewish patriarch, I don't think you will find anything substantial. For me the Bible is the evidence, both old and new testament. We must all stand before our Maker who will be the judge on the Day of Judgement. He knows our every intention, thought, and deed. We ust ask the Almighty to reveal to us who He is, and how we can receive from Him understanding and acceptance. We must be humble before him and ready to forgive as He forgives us. Only God Almighty is holy, and we are earthly and sinful, full of ourselves, needing to be saved from our evil ways. May He have mercy on us.

Is this questioner real? A person studies a subject, reaches a level of understanding where he is able to teach it to others. That makes him qualified. What makes a maths teacher qualified? The same conditions. Rabbi Singer is more qualified than most for he has made it a lifelong mission to teach the truth of Judaism to the masses, especially those misguided souls who have been deluded by Christian missionaries. He is more qualified than Christian scholars because he studied the material in its original language, Hebrew. Very few Christian scholars do this today., therefore they are at a big disadvantage, not to mention their bias blinded because of their beliefs in Christianity. This does not apply to Rabbi Singer simply because he knows the material so much better than them. He does not need to resort to bias, just rely on the facts.

Nobody said the reading in Hebrew leads to the rejection of Christianity. What he said was essentially that every person who claims to believe in the entire Bible, should at least know what he believes in and can't do so unless the person reads it FOR HIMSELF. Most Christians are compelled to believe not the Hebrew Bible but the church offers because they can't reading. They should That's all Singer said.

It is as simple as this. You don't get to worship God your way, that is why God has been sending prophets and scriptures to mankind, you must follow their teachings. There's only one God. No philosophical or nonsensical of who God is, he is One and nothing in the creation is comparable to him. Each one of us has a relationship with God and salvation is from him alone, no one else.
