A man that I claimed to be my Father exposed himself to me when I was 12 and claimed he was going to teach me the changes my body... Will go through to "Make it easier on me." I still have night terrors to this day. He is walking free and it is too late for me to charge him. I will always hold a big contempt for people who do this to innocent people. I hope he NEVER EVER forget what he has done and that he will ROT in prison in his misery for eternity.

Sunshine -ish may be it’s not that late. If he did that to you he might have it done to many other girls to. And from what I’ve seen, it takes the courage from one to talk for most of them to come out and make justice. It’s never too late for the truth nor justice. Be strong! Your future you will always be grateful to yourself for that. Love you! Don’t ever give up on you!

I feel the same way... my stepdad sexually molested me when I was 12. I was robbed of my innocence. I'm 24 now and I haven't had the courage to tell my family besides my 2 close friends. I feel like it's too late because of that horrible statute of limitations. I just want karma to finish him and take care of his sick demented ass. I hope you find courage to at least tell someone. I know I'll live with it the rest of my life and I know I'm all fucked up from it because therapy is expensive for me... I wish you all the best and these sick motherfuckers that inappropriately touched us will rot to hell and experience all the pain and punishment they get. This shows that you can never trust anyone and what's sick is they're your family member, suppose to be the father figure but turns out to be the devil that destroys you. Keep strong and just know there are others like you. You're not alone.
@stevebutler8125 жыл бұрын
Report him. Or else, any victims he molests from now on are not being protected by you. If you value your pride, fear shame, you'll not act. Just ask what you expect the next victim to say you should have done, and do it. It'll never be easy, either way. ✌

Folks who attack the Defense Attorneys in this case do not understand our legal system. Attorneys have an ethical obligation to defend unpopular and controversial defendants. It’s the only way our system works.
@Jen-lc5yc5 жыл бұрын
Yes, that is true. Every criminal is entitled to a defense attorney. It is a nasty task but someone gets chosen to do it. These two young attorneys took it to task. However, I lost respect the female defense attorney after Nassar's sentencing. Her stated personal opinion on the matter to the media, ruined her carrer. It was not her representation of Nassar that ruined it. Her opinion about his " treatments" made people disgusted with her. She stated she didn' t believe all the women were really abused and that " penetration is sometimes neccessary". I lost respect for her after that. She should have just used her head and said case closed, job done.

@Alex To but they do not condone punishing "eye for an eye". This dad was told this by the lawyer herself when they were deciding his punishment on his "assault" on nassar. To punish eye for eye does not solve anything and that is why we have the law. The maximum and most just punishment that could be given to this future inmate would be the law and they did and the dad heard this and agreed when he talked to the lawyer (its in another video). don't get me wrong since I would love nothing more than to punish him that way too, but it ultimately solves nothing.
