There is a process. If the judge makes obvious errors they can be appealed. He has not made an obvious error, so he cannot be appealed. If he were a corrupt nutter, then he could be appealed.

The judge's stated reason for justifying his ordering the public excluded from the courtroom is ridiculous. The fact that the witness had acted "contemptuous" toward the judge does not justify the judge ordering the public from the room. Had the public remained, no doubt no interruptions in the lecture he is about to give, would have occurred. No, the judge does not have authority to "strike the testimony" of the witness if he acts contemptuously again. Why Trump's lawyer says "Okay" escapes intelligence." The Judge can throw the witness in a cell, fine him, but he cannot strike relevant admissible evidence in support of Trump as a punishment for the witness's behavior. Where do these NY trial judges come from?

It appears that, at the same time he ordered the jury to the jury room, he announced the "clear the court room" order which the jury probably heard. So the takeaway for the jury is that the Trump witness is "bad?" What are the judicial rules relative to "clear the court room?" This situation does not appear to justify the judge doing it. The reason it is a _public_ courtroom is because it is not a star chamber.

They were usually powerless, poor individuals. Their trials were not followed in the media. Many of them were incarcerated whilst awaiting trial before conviction. As presumed innocent, they were still locked up. Trump complains endlessly that he cannot attack court staff and this is so unfair. Many defendants are locked up in prison before conviction. Nobody complains that it is unfair. Now CATownsend777 considers that nobody else has suffered such injustice as has been heaped on Trump. That is nonsense. Please just look at all other cases.
