That's a classic sovcit tactics as well. He will argue that the papers shows his name in all caps and that this doesn't refer to him but to a corporate fiction. A strawman. Thing is. This strawman doesn't exist the reason for the all caps. Is simply historical and dates back to telewriters that only had caps letters. It has become a tradition ever since. For any difference to be correct there would have to be documentation that specifies this. There isn't as such documentation would have to be known by all lawyers for example. He also pretends that the government is a corporation like wallmart and like he can chose to not shop at wallmart he can also chose to not interact with the government. It doesn't work like that. The government and by extention the enforcement of the laws as courts are, is not a commercial Corporation.

Nationally broadcast crime/case, with the guy representing himself in the hopes of delaying and sabotaging the proceedings at every point. I'm sure that he hopes to provoke the judge and corrections officers to the point that he can get from them a fiery outburst or even better, a violent response. If this were to happen, he could possibly claim bias by the state and seek a mistrial or use said courtroom hostility in an appeal bid. Same thing if the judge rejects this circus and appoints an attorney, dude would claim the right to defend himself had been taken from him. For me, the real troubling aspect is that this is just the prelims, I can't imagine how this will play out in front of a jury with this lugnut trying to cross examine witnesses to his own crime.

You cannot kill to show that killing is wrong. The death penalty has been tried for centuries, it is not a deterrent for crime. Life without parole allows the individual to give back from behind bars, as well as shed light on why this happens and how to prevent it. PS: What if the person wants to be put to death, then you are incentivizing his crime.

You absolutely can execute someone to show the community that the killer was wrong. Don't know how you can't see that.
