Brooks keeps referring to himself as the alleged defendant. He is not an alleged defendant, he is the defendant in this case. He is an "alleged offender".

He is saying alleged defendent because he think as a soverine citizen that he doesn't have to adhere to the US legal code. So he's trying to not "admit" that he's even a defendant. It's wild, but he's been trying to have the case dismissed "because he does not recognize" the court's authority and jurisdiction. It's sad that he's trying so hard to discredit these witnesses who are just saying that they saw him. When there's plenty of other evidence that he was the driver that day.

Imagine living with this rambling narcissist every day while he abuses you verbally and physically, twisting your words and thoughts, blaming you and keeping you so confused that you can’t find an escape from him. Narcissists are dangerous predators that seep into society and poison it.

The smirk on his face when he tells her ‘happy birthday’ is disgusting. This is just wrong. Every defendant is innocent until proven guilty in the USA and every defendant has the right to represent themselves. But for a defendant who is representing themselves to be allowed to question their own victim on the stand is outrageous and absurd.
