One of my favorites by her is from the "Show Mask Go On" entitled "Oh' It's Not Yet Evening" kzbin.info/www/bejne/mZe3moShf9d_n5I. It's an over 300 year old folk song about a Cossack warrior who dreams of his death in an imminent battle. On Diana's face you see sadness, anxiety and pain of the soul of the Cossack warrior. One would swear she borrowed that soul to perform the song. I'm not sure how many people appreciate the emotional gasps she produces here that absolutely melt me.

Thanks for another great reaction! I’m willing to bet that Diana Ankudinova didn’t throw in polyphonic sections randomly-I think there were artistic choices being made. I stumbled across this performance more than three years ago, it was my first exposure to Diana, and I’ve never been the same 😃

Another awesome reaction from you, everything you said is on point, i do not have anything to add. The blond lady judge said at the end, "It is impossible for me to understand how a 15 year old girl can transmit the feelings i have at my 40s" The other lady judge said "I have no idea on why you are here, i do not know what further could we ever teach you" and the young male judge answered to that saying "She is here to teach us not be stagnant". This encapsulates everything that Diana is, an absolute genius of her craft with no peers even close to her. I am glad that you solved your subtitles issue, can;t wait for more.
