Citrus peel needs to go through the 'boiling hot water, followed by drained and placed in cold water' treatment *multiple* times. You'll know when the peel is sufficiently cooked when the *pith* is no longer opaque but changes to slightly translucent. That way much of the bitterness is removed by the boiling and rinsing. 🍊🍋

I just watched a chef turn citrus peels into delicious looking little snacks and the only thing he did differently than you was use a zester with those little holes at the tip that make little strings and he essentially boiled them in the plain water until they turned translucent… I imagine just the same way they say wait for onions to get translucent. Then he did the sugar syrup bit and added citric acid to the sugar he coated them in and it turned out like Sour Patch Kids candy!

Dude- Sirracha AND chilli oil?! I would have only used a bit if Sirracha personally! The second you listed the ingredients- I was like oh HEEEELL naw!! TOO 🌶 HOT! The Sirracha you used it the kind Inuse I believe! And it's my favorite, too! I think that rice Omelette does look good (needs crunch though!!) But I would totally try that! I agree with maybe adding pepper and sweet corn! Lemon bars- idk how to make, but I LOVE THEM!! ❤❤❤ you just needed to add some powdered sugar on top to make it perfect! The orange one- wow, I'd love to try that but I don't have enough patience! 😂 when you shook the sugar and it spilled everywhere, I truly laughed outloud! Your sugar peels looked literally SO GOOD, but your reaction is what I thought it would be. Put the syrup on top of waffles or pancakes! (Along with some Nutella!!) Or use it in some sparkling water or mocktails!

Mein erstes Reispapieromlette war ein Reinfall, weil das Ei das Papier aufgeweicht hat. Beim zweiten Versuch hab ich es einfach länger in der Pfanne gelassen und es ist perfekt geworden. Bin total süchtig danach! Ich verquirle 2 Eier und mache damit 3-4 Reispapieromlettes, weil ich es nicht so eiig mag. Und ordentlich Chili crisp muss auch drauf🤤

The voiced and not voiced thing for German is also what makes the biggest "German accent" cliché in French. Usually people just mix up the "ch" and "j" sounds, or the "f" and "v". It's the same for "Alsacien accent" (the easternmost region of France next too Germany where the language is a kind of German)

You can do that with Lemon peel although you can use fresh raw lemon peel without cooking it ( meyer lemons if you can get them) and sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on it. Snack on them- they are very healthy for their bioflavanoids

Use the orange syrup as a soak for cake. Just make a nice citrus cake of your choosing and after the cake is baked brush a generous amount of syrup on top. (I'm a professional baker and that's what I would do)

Fun fact, gluten free flour works a little differently from the others, since there’s not gluten in there is becomes crumblier and it’s drier, so if you use a recipe which uses gluten free flour change it up a little, it probabily is set to help change those facts about it
