Hey Harris I just wanted to say that I just started streaming this year and I’m about to get 100 followers, Currently at 98. Just wanted to say I listen to your advice a lot and take everything into consideration. I’m not where I want to be, had a dull area the past few months where I was slacking on streaming and not pushing myself. But I’m back at it and blown away of the small results. Just wanted to say thanks for your content and the motivation I get from it!

@DrewSunn4 жыл бұрын
7:37 You were talking about making his transition cleaner. I've actually done this with a similar transition, but it recently broke. You know the scene in Infinity War when Thanos transforms his home planet into what it used to be? I keyed out his home and made it reveal the scene under. I used a smoke effect to hide the line and blended it with the original scene to make it look natural. Unfortunately, it doesn't colour key well, so I used a "Quicktime" file to pull it off (basically just allows the video to be transparent), but (assumedly) because of the bigger file size the transition lags. It didn't use to, but an OBS update caused it to sometime last year. Still have yet to find a solution for this. tl;dr Put the fire on the side that is transitioning instead of the scene he was previously on and blend it with some smoke or something IF you can find a way to colour key it well OR find a transparent video file that doesn't lag on OBS.

Thanks for the feedback! You got the concept correct where the goal was to make it look like the camera source was burning away. Maybe there's a way I can remove some of the realism in the flames while keeping with the concept. Thanks for taking a look :)

The first guy looks a little like Sheldon. Sam's audio is a lot lower than yours. I had to lower my audio to hear you, but strain to hear him. This is the first time I've seen him on a video of yours, not sure if it's semi-normal, but if you can raise his audio, that would be great! I hear that a lot on certain videos, and never understood why people don't do sound checks to make sure their audios are synced in loudness. There are podcasts that do it where everyone's at the same sound level and it's really nice. That's a pet peeve of mine. Otherwise, this is a great segment!
