Having a night out at my lounge means i dont have an alcoholic drink, which is apparently legal and what the government wants me to do.I'm much safer driving home after a cigar than a bunch of beers. "Its my body, my choice"?

In Canada, they have gone on record saying that they remove the bands and put cigars in generic boxes, explicitly to take the joy out of the experience. I don't know about anyone else but, if I'm paying over $10 per cigar, I want to know that I am getting what I am paying for. No rings, in blank boxes, means they can put whatever they want in the boxes and sell them as something they are not.

Cigars are far safer than driving on I-95, and less of a health concern than eating fast food.

Whole heartedly agree! Survive the DMV with a cigar.
@OmniphonProductions3 ай бұрын
As mentioned in the video...and the judge's decision...usage patterns are key in determining danger. Only 1% of American adults smoke premium tobacco products. The same cannot be said for I-95. Perhaps the FDA's resources would be better spent talking to the NTSB and/or DOT about regulating I-95 out of existence. LOL
@ericstephens43073 ай бұрын
I would say cigar smoking is even healthier than eating processed/highly refined foods including fast foods! I will further say, and since this is a political video, I am more likely to die or have my health affected by the millions of illegal aliens in this country! When the feds can handle that risk first and put warming labels on those people I might consider their regulatory offer. Till then "my body, my choice!" Right?!🤔😉👊😬

Incredible that rules and regulations creep into every aspect of our lives. For me, in this case, the FDA have gone in with a half cocked argument and quite rightly have been shot down. I considered my own health before I started my cigar journey as I believed I was responsible enough to do that. I didn't need some organization to do that for me... I exercised my freedom of choice, based on my ability to make that choice. Great article Tim. Please keep us informed.

The federal gov needs to stay out of my business. The smoking age should be 18 along with the drinking age. If you’re old enough to serve in the military and vote, you’re old enough to drink and smoke. Hell, pot is being legalized and cigars are under attack. Something is wrong.

Once you understand that ALL regulation exists at the request of someone who can profit from it. Both the government and some billionaire somewhere has a profit motive here. As we already know that our government does not care at all about our health, we can assert up front that health cannot be a motivation for regulation.

Cigars have an inherent danger to health, as does alcohol, processed foods, sugary drinks, vehicles, sunlight, etc. Then there's rock climbing, sky diving, base jumping, auto racing, martial arts competitions, all with inherent risks. We need to be allowed the freedom to make our own choices, be they good or bad for us.

This directly impacts everyone’s lives in the world of cigars and is definitely good to keep up to date with as it will tell you what’s in store for your future experiences. Not to mention that judgements like these are indicative of FDA action in the future for non cigar related things such as alcohol and guns. I do as others enjoy a premium cigar after work, golfing, with friends, etc. I personally got the big smack down after ordering $500 of cigars on 6/2/24 from your competitor (sorry Tim) 😂. Well out of FL anyways. Living in Colorado I was hit with $138 excise tax and I was floored to say the least! That excise tax cost me more than 1/4 of my order! Any words of wisdom how to combat this atrocity of our freedom with taxation? Signed broke, busted and cigarless. 😢
