Well, being short does have disadvantages when it comes to muscle mass, general mass (for grappling), reach, and leverage. But at the very least, it makes it awkward to punch you properly. You are out of their normal reach. It also means that the angles of attacks are predictable, and probably at blocking height.

I love the duality between Judo Master and Peacemaker. While Judo Master is the superior combatant, his small size and shirt height make him not hit as hard and every hit he takes he feels the full force of it.
