@Chadi : Like always, I love these breakdowns. I actually just watched this, because I did not watch all of the 2019 IJF World Championships when they happened, and I thought it was great that Christa could bring home the world title for the first time to Canada! Have you considered doing Tsukasa Yoshida or Rafaela Silva for one of your breakdowns? Their semi-final was probably one of my favorite matches of the entire 2019 world championships for the level of aggression that the competitors showed, and the way that Yoshida constantly fought for a submission or turn-over every time the fight went to the mat. So often, judoka sit around and do nothing in IJF competition until the ref stands them back up, but I find that as a fan, that type of gamesmanship kills my enthusiasm for the match. I understand why people do it, and I understand that when a world championship is on the line, people are going to use whatever tactics they can to get a win. But I think it's a lot more exciting when there's some good newaza in a judo match.

If I am a Canadian coach I keep degaushi in under 57kg And klimkat she had to choose between under 52kg or under 63kg No other option because Christa degaushi is guaranteed Olympic medal.

You the Japanese the don't expect dual citizenship weather you are Japanese or not some countries they have this policy For example ishiie satoshi Japanese judoka Olympic medallist 2008 in Beijing he became Croatian and he was forced to drop his Japanese citizenship.
