Bingo. I did Judo back in the day and added wrestling in junior high and high school. It also isn't just the rules, but no one can compete in the other sport without learning the rules which means at least a few months of training so you are even allowed to compete. Doing both at the same time was a big metal leap as both developed habits bad for the other sport. That said... when I moved up to high school and joined their team, a couple of my old teammates from my junior high also joined the team and mentioned to some of the older guys that I did Judo. For some reason some guy already on the team started trash talking Judo. This went on for a few weeks. He was a few weight division above me, although in pure wrestling we are kind of even. During practice one day he again trash-talked me and said something stupid like "I'd like to see you use that Judo on me." For the next few minutes, in front of everyone, I proceeded to put him in chokes and arm locks at will and I'd let him up to keep sweeping him. Folks in Judo never trash talked wrestlers and it was easy to spot those who also had done wrestling in Judo competitions -- they were the guys next to impossible to throw.

Yup! A wrestler can lose from a pin position, a judoka can win from a pin position. Judoka trained to use locks and chokes, but that's illegal in wrestling.

The big issue is if you train different martial arts, you can never become a specialist in a single martial art you train. A Judoka who learned classical Judo with legs grabbing is an edge of fighter. I don't beliive that a Wrestler can defeat a Judoka, because a wrestler has not the techniques of arm bars, leg bars, Kimura or Choking techniques...

Most of these judokas clearly have experience in wrestling as well. Judo has much to learn from wrestling in terms of explosiveness and conditioning...especially knees and neck to avoid permanent injury. Wrestling can learn from judo's technique

I've done 14 years of wrestling, catch wrestling, jiu-jitsu, and judo, and I've done a lot of street fights. Wrestling throws are much faster and sronger than other grappling styles of throws. When you use wrestling throws in real fight, the game ends in just one moment.

All depends on the individual, a good wrestler knows how to turn sport into a choke or a arm lock etc. Remember wrestlers in Europe were going no holds barred 100 years ago...both judo and wrestling are effective.

Judo and wreasteling are both great, but even if judo more about finese, and even if looks that judo has an upper hand here, wreastler, are more mobile and agile, if they want to take down judoka, they would do every thing that is in their power to dominate, esspecialy on the ground, they know the ways how to escape falling on their back, even if judoka throw them, and in the fight with out the rules, wrestlers have upper hand.

Well... the video showed both high leveled Judokas and wreslers. So it's boils down to the individual expertise or skill level. In the UFC one such female judoka ( Ronda Rousey winning bronze at the 2008 Summer Olympics) was able to become a UFC champion in 2012. Defending her title six times before Holly Holmes head kick knock her out in UFC 193. Successful wreslers that did good in the UFC like Brock Lesnar, Ken Sherock, Dan Severn, Mark Coleman etc...etc..etc...

Judo is better than wrestling, mainly because judo teaches you how to use the opponents own momentum against them plus take them to the ground while you stay on your feet, Khabib one of the greatest grapplers in the UFC has said verbally judo is better than wrestling as well, my only issue with judo is that I like grappling no gi.
