I am a huge fan of Judy Collins and have all of her recordings. Have her books too. Incredible singer! What a vocal range she has. Great to see this video. Many thanks! .

Wow I met Eric Weissberg in about 1980 at Coffeehouse Extempore in Minneapolis. I admired his banjo playing and had bought his banjo songbook that I had learned a few songs from and listened to one of his albums a lot. By then he'd done the movie sound track to "Deliverance". I had my lesson book with me and he signed it with a quick little drawing of a banjo. I've always kept the book. It is great to experience his guitar music and discover him traveling and performing with Judy. Judy's voice is so beautiful it seems unreal. I love the intricate picking. My guitar instructor when I was a boy didn't like strumming and taught me different finger picking patterns so I appreciate it, but not opposed to strumming as a technique too. My guitar was an old domed top "Harmony" with the "F" holes like violins have. My instructor found it in the village dump with the back busted out of it. It still had the original strings. He cut a piece of plywood paneling to fit and painted a white line around the edge. He sold it to my mother for $25. I don't know where my mother came up with the money as in 1965 $25 is worth $225 in today's money. I hear this now as I think of an old friend now with God who laughed and said he walked out on Judy's concert in Chicago like it was boring but can't figure out why hearing this. He was light-hearted with an infectious laugh I can still hear. It's so great to experience her performance! THANKS CAL VID!

and the quintessential voice for Turn, Turn, Turn... in a later version of the recording... my heart aches from the memories and the Ironic moment we are living through....

This may be my favorite era of Judy Collins. Some excellent stuff. I became a Judy Collins fan in the 70s but at one of her concerts in the 90s at Wolf Trap, she performed some of her earlier stuff, including one of my favorites from the 5th Album, The Coming of the Roads.

I love Judy Collins but Eric Weissberg (Guitar) and Chuck Israels (Bass) were superb musicians and songwriters in their own right. I would love to have have seen more of them.

The fourth song that Judy sang in this concert is "The Silver Dagger" but on your information it shows "Turn, Turn, Turn being the fourth song. "The Silver Dagger" is not listed." "My Ramblin' Boy" and Russian song, "Oh My Sweetheart" also not on the list.
