I'm a Judy Garland fanatic - I just wanted to add some more fragrances she wore. Her third husband, Sid, wrote in his recently released memoir that she liked to wear Jean Pateu's "Joy" and Balmain's "Vent Vert". I also found one book where someone described her wearing White Shoulders. In a makeup case sold in an auction that belonged to her, included a bottle a Ma Griffe bath oil, "Arpege" by Lanvin, "Femme" by Rochas, and a bottle of Guerlain "Vol De Nuit" talc. So, apparently, she enjoyed many perfumes!

Lux is a brand owned by Unilever (which is huge). The brand is still sold in many markets, including many countries in South America. They come in lots of fragrances, but they keep on taking some out of the market and introducing new ones. I imagine they depend on the particular taste of each market, or what kind of fragrances a buyer will buy. I always like watching your videos. I love watching all the vintage makeup :)

Buy the essential oils of the list you gave. You won’t have the exact ratio, but you could play around with it until you have a scent you like, which will probably be closest to what it originally smelled like. Also, most larger cities will have a perfumery where they can recreate a scent. You have the elements so you are half way there! Thanks for the vid. RZ was fantastic, I was not thrilled with the script.

In the late 1970’s I wore Roger and Gallet’s carnation fragrance. It wasn’t Blue Carnation just Carnation. It was divine! I used the soap, dusting powder(before talc was considered bad for you) and cologne. After 1980 I could only find the soap. I sold Roger and Gallet in my antique/gift shop in the 1980’s. Sadly a lot of those scents aren’t available anymore. I stumble upon their Lavander and Jean Marie scents online sometimes. ❤️Love❤️your❤️videos!

Really curious why you titled this video as things you can still but today, yet showed a bunch of things you bought from EBay, and even they were empty bottles? Also, I felt that “Judy biopic” that was not approved by her estate, exploitive and in general, extremely poor taste- not to mention that no one can fill her shoes, especially not Renee. I chose not to see it, because I am a true fan, and I believe she was exploited enough while alive. All her movies are available to watch, and find it peculiar that it is a movie about the time in her life that was not at all indicative of the legend she will always be.

Perfume is not a beauty product. Beauty products are things that improve the look of your hair or skin. That can be lotion, cleanser, facial scrubs, moisturizers, eye creams. lip balms, scrub brushes for face or body and simlilar items. Perfume or colonge does not affact your appearance, so they are not beauty products.
