Nothing wrong with liquid eyeliner in the waterline, but just use sanitized brush and no sponge 😂 also... way too much product, you have to use less, so you don’t need a sponge at all.

i'm brazilian and, generally, we tend to prefer neutral tones for big events -- and daily life too. i think the only time where we get truly colourful is at clubs and carnaval. the rest, as in a matte foundation and a somewhat "carved" contour, do seem to be trends here, although this has been changing lately. people around my age, 21, nowadays tend to wear a more glowy, natural look.

7:00 - AHHHHH THAT'S LITERALLY HOW I CONTRACTED BACTERIAL CONJUNCTIVITIS!!! Holy shit, I was just laughing at how patchy the eyeshadow was until she started piling on the liquid eyeliner to the waterline, and it turned to horror immediately. Seriously, I had a clean (or so I thought) cotton bud brush my eyeball by accident when trying to clean up some liquid liner that had crept into my lacrimal caruncle, and ended up with the worst pinkeye I've ever had, so severe that my eyes would seal shut overnight and I had to hold a clean, warm, damp towel on my eyelids for five minutes just to open them. I'm horrified.

Yassss.... I was so proud of you when you knew that she was using color correction concealer incorrectly. She should’ve used orange or peach under your eye to cancel any blues. If you have purple undertones under the eye use yellow. Green cancels any redness on the face. As for your liner, I was shook to my core when she put liquid eyeliner on your waterline and shoved a sponge inside your eye to soak it up. 😳 Also, using eyeliner to contour your face is hilarious 😂 perhaps all the good reviews come from her family and friends?

I actually think she did a good job...I like the eyes, and especially her choice to put some glitter to really hone in on the Brazilian theme. You actually do have redness under your eyes, where most people have blue and/or purple, so she made a good choice. Sure, we can pick apart the foundation shade, which you already know is hard to find in Quito (I studied there for 3 months, and even finding sunscreen is nearly impossible), but I think she did well, overall.

The part that had me confused about that is, she first used an angled brush for the nose contour, then did other things, then went back to contouring, but with the pencil. Why? Why not just use what she was using with the brush on the nose originally for the rest of it?

There's not much worse than the shattering of expectations-especially when they're not even unrealistic! Tho the eye colors weren't my cup o' tea, it's the placement that killed the look. A deeper blue or indigo in your crease, even a pastel cut crease, and you'd have been golden! Wish I could fix some of these bad looks for you! 😊❤️
