The last time I went fishing was with my uncle after my Dad died. I was about 10 years old. Got the news this morning that Uncle Bob passed away from stage 4 lung cancer. He was 86. Watching your family fish together reminded me of my kind uncle. Best wishes from northern Illinois.

Hey there HHF family from Texas;!! Nice catch of fish you have. I enjoy catching them with chicken liver sitting on the bank with a cold glass of tea. My dad dug a pond on our homestead. He made a pulley trot line from one end of the pond to the other and baited it when he wanted fish which seen like every week. Trot line was his way of fishing. I’d rather use a rod and reel and enjoy the fight with the fish. More relaxing that way to me. To each his own way of fishing It was fun to watch all of you having a nice family outing. Kia, one Sunday afternoon fishing with my Dad I caught a 10 lb channel cat. Wouldn't let Dad help, boat to tipsy! Mom took a pic at home. Boy did I get razed by the boys , when she put it in the newspaper! Senior year I had to teach a lot of those boys how to bait a hook, take fish off & clean fish, in a gym class! I see that scenario in your future!! A combo girly girl & Tomboy ROCK! 💝
