Besten Dank!

haha, glad you like it without music, after i had music on my previous tutorial i decided to skip it this time. those who want music will listen to their own anyways. thanks for your comment :D

Yeah, that's also why i like his tutorials. Fucking annoying all those background music in other tutorials.

You do an excellent job of demystifying Adobe Illustrator - until now i've been scared to use it. Thank you!
@Juicefoozle8 жыл бұрын
Yay, that's great. I know that feeling, I always compare it to a visit in a supermarket in a foreign country, with foreign letters. You just want to buy milk, but have no clue in which lane or which shelf. and then you finally find something that looks like milk, and are still not sure, if it's really milk, or maybe white paint. But you can't ask anyone cause you don't speak the language. haha.

Oh, I SO hope you become one of those guys with many subs and tons of views. You absolutely deserve it already, even after only two vids. Please keep making videos man, I often use Illustrator for my job and I'm not that good yet, but I'm sure your future vids will help me that (as this and your other video already did)!

Have you looked into plug-ins from Astute Graphics? They have a Mirror Me plugin that would eliminate all the set up you did at the beginning. Costs money but so far all their plug-ins are totally worth it.

@xenophunk8 жыл бұрын
as a (fairly) new ai user, i've found your videos to be extremely helpful! do you start most of your projects sketching first or hop right into illustrator and mess around? i'm more interested in graphic design (logos, typography, infographics) than i am illustrating, and i just don't know where to properly start as a beginner.
@Juicefoozle8 жыл бұрын
xenophunk I'm mostly making sketches first. If the illustration is very generic, like a heart / bulb / drip (and so on) icon I directly jump into ai. I guess it's a matter of experience, once you know how to create certain shapes it becomes less necessary to sketch. For character designs and complex less generic work, there's always a pretty intense sketching phase at first.
