Those tumble-down seats are cool! A great compromise when sideways benches aren't allowed

Just bought my first car and it is a defender 90 TD5 and one of the big reasons was this channel! Hahaha unfortunately it isn’t a station wagon so I’m hoping to get it converted eventually.

Your videos are always a 9.5, but the puppies make them a perfect 10! We need more puppies!

Great stuff. Picked up a good tip of using a hot spike to create the holes in the carpet from underneath! Taking orders for new ‘old’ defenders built from scratch?? :)

Your work is amazing! I will say seeing the bare guts and then getting built up is quite interesting. Unless I missed something, there doesn’t seem to be much structural support with the roof. How do Defenders do in rollover crashes? I would think the roof just caves right in. Also, I always thought they could hold a lot of weight on top with racks and all that. Seems that might not be too safe without more support. Love the video, thanks!

Thank you Jerry! There isn’t much structural support in the roof at all! In the event of a roll over crash, the roof will fold over like paper… I always stress how much these vehicles need the Safety devices windscreen roll bar. Thanks for your support!

Looks great can't wait to get my up and running managed to get it tuning over but not started so time to change the fule filter and glow plugs and go from there got my 30 mms spacers then on to the interior. The tan coloured interior is definitely growing on me.

@@juicemotors thank you and I will definitely do the Easier bits first and watching your channel has inspired me to crack on and get my build done and I will definitely have to come to the garage once it's up and running one day to sort some prices out on a interior update. Thank you for inspiring me.

Did exactly the same conversion with YRM panels, rear tumble downs took a little fettling. Where are your rear seat belts? Did you get the original brackets to mount the fir tree clips above and below the upper seat belt mounting point on the rear window surrounds? Do you use WhatsApp? Really looking good, lots of work…

Mate, check the defender the guys on salvage rebuilds UK channel bought that they now want to get rid of. Maybe something you guys want to take on. Seems like they want to sell it for the same price as they bought it. 3500K bargain
