It’s such a realization to have heard you say you started this transformation YEARS ago. It takes time to get the habits, the behavior, etc. I can’t just wake up one morning and have a routine, it takes time. And you showed us on your body metrics that progress isn’t always linear. I’ve been beating myself up for weeks about this, I set a short term goal and I’m not where I thought I would be by now. But at the same time, I’m developing skills and habits that will help me reach this goal and others in the future. I really do look up to you juji. After all, you’re the reason i have a power rack in my apartment living room! thank you for all your information in this video, and so many others. I really do owe a lot of my fitness knowledge to you. You don’t just talk, we have seen all your knowledge applied to your own body and let me tell you, you look absolutely insane, I can see muscle striations in your muscle striations.

Since this pandemic started i've been out of a job. Financially i'm doing fine fortunately, but i've been watching more KZbin than ever. All i see are successful people with lots of subscribers, doing what they love. Meanwhile i'm sitting here without a job, without a purpose. I'm slowly comparing myself more and more to them and i realized i was getting jealous of someone elses life. No idea who's quote this is, but i heard it a couple of days ago: 'I was comparing my life to their highlight reel.' Been taking cold showers for a month or so and they are really helping. Cooking is fun to do, so eating healthy isn't a problem. I'm doing better now. This video is showing that even KZbinrs with a lot of subs are still human, with human problems. That helps putting things in perspective. Jon changed his life, so can i and so can everyone! Might take some time and/or help from others, but everyone struggling right now will own this shit in the end. I believe in everyone!

This video resonated with me on so many levels. I was in the middle of the best powerlifting block of my life making PRs left and right and my health was declining at the same time. I ended up being diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and in the process losing 40lbs within a month. Anemic, weak, and in pain. My body was declining with all the progress I have made during my fitness journey. Instead of letting my mind wither away with my body I kept my head up with all the will power I had left as I was changing my diet to accommodate my colon and being put on the right medications to stabilize my disease. All this happened 2 months ago and I was cleared to lift a week ago. Never been happier starting from scratch. Just to see all the progress I will be making over the next months and years. Thank you Juji for the inspiring words and entertaining videos. Keep pushing through life’s obstacles and showing us your journey.

I've been saving for so long for my own place that I failed to realize that if I had chosen to leave earlier, I probably would have made more progress outside this house. I love my parents, but it can really have a drastic effect on my motivation when someone interrupts my workout or my work. Juji, I’ve watched dozens if not hundreds of your videos and this is my favourite. While I certainly don’t go as hard as you, I had let a lot of life’s issues get to me and my diet went to crap. But I never stopped training as hard I could, and my body was starting to break down. I separated my shoulder doing pull-ups and tore a calf while running. And with all the inflammation in my body I was more muscular than I’d ever been but somehow was getting weaker. Two months ago I cut sugar from my diet, reduced starches and tripled my greens intake. And I let go of what I couldn’t control, and limited my training days to 3x strength training and 1x dedicated cardio a week. I’m down nearly 20 lbs now and still dropping. With less inflammation in my body I’m healing more quickly, recovering well and feeling better. I love your comments about eliminating friction points. Patching a drywall crack here, cleaning a closet there. At 45, I was thinking I was getting old and would be forced to slow down. Now, I think I’ve got some gas left in the tank to hit my conditioning goals. So all of this video is resonating with me and I know I’m on the right track. Thanks Juji!

You and your wife should podcast about the self help stuff. I dig it, and a lot of us mid 30's folks who are all about improving themselves are all going through this self help/ therapy phase as well and you guys would strike a great cord.

Congratulations! You're looking absolutely nuts! Blows my mind to see your body turn into that of a top tier pro wrestler. Been watching since maybe a year before quarantine and it's very cool to see how well you've put all that time to use.

Juji, man, I've been following for a couple years now, and you seem so much more alive and happy. I'm super proud of you for recognizing that things needed to change and just putting in the work to make it happen. Another big thing that I've learned through dealing with hardship is that it's not necessarily about being okay through the tough times, it's about recognizing what you can control and trying not to stress about what you can't. It's hard. But letting go of what's out of my control has brought me a lot of peace. One last thing, I wanted to thank you for all that you do. You've even helped me personally, and my doctor says you might have saved my life. When you did your daily routine video a while back and talked about your CPAP, a lot of the symptoms you described I've been experiencing for a couple years. I thought it was just getting older, but through you I figured out that I needed medical help. I'm super grateful for that, and also for you just doing you and keeping it real here. As long as you keep putting out the truth in whatever you're doing, I'll keep watching and supporting.

A lot of the tracking and journaling i do in my effort to get down to a reasonable weight is because of following this channel. My supps, my eating habits, and my workouts are all directly influenced by how this channel changed how i view the process and how enjoyable working out can be if you know what your goals and steps are. Huge props to you for your personal growth and i can't wait to see you on stage killing it!!!!

Almost two years ago I quit my job on a matter of principal even though I had no backup plan. Met a guy at a party that just assumed that I was a PT so I said, I can do that, and we made a deal. He's still with me and getting jacked. Jordan Peterson said, and I might be paraphrasing, "Stop doing things that make you weaker" and I took that to heart.

I started watching Juji sometime during 2016-17 and don't remember exactly when I stopped but I didnt really pick back up until the start of the gym build, and I've watched almost every video since, there really has been a serious transition for Juji in this period of time, Juji you're looking bigger than ever, better than ever, and your attitude towards making content is amazing, Sam is doing great behind the camera, and honestly y'all it really feels like a come back story, at least to me, but anyway y'all keep up the amazing work

What a wonderful message. Your world won't be perfect, but get started. Sometimes you'll dive deep, but when you surface on the side of accomplishment, take joy in it. The (perception of) time flies by faster as you grow older. Whatever you do, make sure YOU want to do it. Thanks. 💯💯💯

Juji, I started watching because of the weight lifting, but I come back because you seem like a good person who's open and honest. I've never seen you be unkind and you always seem to have fun while striving to achieve difficult things. I think you help people see how to approach life in a positive way while pushing themselves to achieve more.... so it's more than the weightlifting at this point.
