thank you very much for your video very well done! Would you know how to adjust the length of the thread after cutting? Every time I use it I have to re-thread the needle. Many thanks

The length of thread is mainly adjusted using the small tension dial. Most sewers think the small tension dial is for tension but it is used to control the length of thread after the thread trim. Looser tension = Longer Thread tail after the cut (You should start w. the knob all the way loose and then adjust) Righter Tension = Shorter Tail. If you have the 9000CF then make sure your WIPER/Thread Clamp is turned on. This allows the machine to catch the tail even when it is short. Normally 3/8" - 1/2" tail will catch when thread clamp is turned on. Hope this helps!

Top right corner of the panel screen is a picture of a lock. Press and hold for about 2 seconds to change from unlocked to lock. The photo will show you which setting it is on.

You can bring the speed down to 100 RPM which should go slow enough. By any chance it is not slow enough, you can change the functions on the Utility Changeover and Reverse Buttons on the right side of the needle area. These can be programmed to different functions to fit your needs. How to access Menu for changeover buttons: 1. Press and hold the "M" Key for 3 seconds (You will hear 1 beep after the 3 seconds) 2. Select option #11 (Hand Switch Settings A&B) 3. Select Hand Switch A or B 4. Select the function you wish to program that button too. (You should try #7 from the list below) Hand Switch Functions: 1 Optional input function is not provided 2 Needle up / down compensating stitching 3 Back compensating stitching 4 Function of canceling once reverse feed stitching at the end of sewing 5 Thread trimming function 6 Presser foot lifting function 7 One stitch compensating stitching 8 Material edge sensor input 9 Function of prohibiting depressing front part of pedal 10 Function of prohibiting thread trimming output 11 Low speed command input [Description of operations of the custom switch] Function item 12 High speed command input 13 Needle lifting function 14 Reverse feed stitching switch input 15 Soft start switch input 16 One-shot speed command switch input 17 Backward one-shot speed command switch input 18 Safety switch input 19 Automatic reverse feed stitching cancellation/addition switch 20 Sewing counter input 21 One-touch type changeover switch
